To further improve the early experience of Arcaea and to make progressions smoother to people of all skill levels, 5.4 delivers a 4th new difficulty: Eternal (ETR).
Equivalent to the current Future difficulty, Eternal helps lay more stepping stones for beginner to intermediate players' skill progression by creating easier Past, Present and early Future song difficulties, while still giving advanced players high-difficulty content in the form of Eternal.
While not all new content will receive an ETR difficulty, upcoming songs will continue to receive challenging charts through either the FTR or ETR difficulty. Look forward to a wider range of content to improve your Arcaea skills!
6 songs are given Eternal difficulty in v5.4. This includes 3 upcoming songs soon to be announced for v5.4, as well as 3 familiar ones:

This is perfect for new players who are practicing harder difficulties. I'm pretty sure the hierarchy of difficulties is like this: PST > PRS > FTR and ETR > BYD.
