Perrie Edwards splits with record label and manager after 15 years to begins new era
The Little Mix star has revealed she is under new management as she begins to move her careers in a new direction
Perrie Edwards has confirmed a major change behind the scenes as she prepares to embark on the next chapter of her solo career. The Little Mix star, 33, has parted ways with music titan Sony and her longtime team of representatives at Modest Management after 15 years. Perrie is assembling a new support network as she begins work on her second album.
Mum-of-two Perrie has now signed with Various Artists Management, joining a roster which includes The Libertines, La Roux and former Spice Girl Melanie C.
Confirming their new signing on Instagram, the company announced: "We’re delighted to welcome @perrieedwards to Various Artists Management."
The move follows the release of Perrie's self-titled debut album last year, which reached number three in the UK charts. Her first solo single, Forget About Us, also gave the singer her first Top 10 hit away from Little Mix.
According to The Sun, Perrie was offered the opportunity to make her second record with Columbia but decided against continuing with the label as she looks to overhaul her sound and image.

Sources told the publication that Perrie emerged from her first solo album campaign with a stronger idea of the music she wants to make next and felt it was the right moment to make changes after more than a decade with Sony and Modest.
Perrie, who tied the knot with her long-term partner, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in June, is reportedly keen to have greater control over both her new team and the creative direction of album number two.
There appears to be no bad blood surrounding the departures, with Perrie said to remain grateful for the support she received throughout Little Mix's success and during the launch of her solo career.
And the singer has already been dropping hints about what comes next.
Earlier this summer, Perrie described her single Passenger Princess as the final chapter of her first album campaign.
She said: "I love the lyrics. I think it’s so relatable, it’s just fun. I love it so much and it’s the closing of the Perrie era. So this is like the end of the campaign, so to speak. OK, yes, we’re closing it."
Perrie also revealed that she already had a clear vision for the music she wanted to make next, adding: "I know the vibe (of the new era). I know what I want, I know the direction. I just need to get it all in order."
Perrie had been with Modest Management since Little Mix were formed on The X Factor in 2011 alongside Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson.
The group went on to become the first band to win the ITV talent show and enjoyed more than a decade of success before Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne announced a hiatus in 2022.
Perrie then signed with Columbia Records and launched her solo career in 2024, before releasing her debut album last year.
