I might take it more seriously if there actually were any female artists worth talking about, but it’s not like these ”chicks” Ivy knows are doing it any less performatively. This is a dying culture, talking about whether men or women have more to give is laughable.

I think she is great, i don't even want to critique her sociologically, or account for her privilege,etc. She is clever and talented, but she is the tip of a generation of people who speak literarily, and can't yet find a written style or a story (as someone said in the thread) that transcends clever pod talk.
