That's not the issue, dummy. The issue is, you're turning the thread into a shitshow of repeated posts, when that can be easily avoided.
Well I took your word into account and now I will be more cautious when replying to long messages

@becky's Back! do you really need to quote Bob Page's and Walter C's entire posts, with the gigantic picture and embedded videos, just to say "thanks" and "a cool idea"? Your replies follow theirs directly, it's not like 10 people replied before you can address them. And even if there were other posts, you don't need to quote everything. How hard is it to just say "Thanks, Bob" and "Nice idea, Walter", without turning your own thread into an unreadable trainwreck?
Do you realize the quoted area is a little darker allowing you to easily know where it ends so you can just scroll down faster

Returning back to the project idea, i Always thought of Phobos as the Mars satellite, not a charatcher (from Quake 3 right?)!

I mean, fighting a huge space rock with a evil face makes me think of weird Japanese shoot'em up and... It's pretty metal in a way. Doom 2 have already a incapsulated archdemon head into a wall, why not this?

Tune in next time with more stupid ideas, goodbye!
I mean that is a cool idea but I don't know how I'm really going to implement that into my doom wad

You don't need to quote everything. You can just @ them in a regular post (@ + username) like Bob page did in his last post. You can hover over their display name and their username will pop up.

EDIT: Moved thread to Doom Editing as there is no project, just the discussion of one.
well I already am doing it in slade as I learn and even thought of a name but that deserves a proper thread when I get screenshots of my levels

Here are a few beginner map-making tutorials:

There are probably better ones out there somewhere, but essentially what you'll want to do is just use a search engine and try to absorb as much information and as many tips as you can. Start small and build something basic, like one room or maybe two rooms connected by a hallway. Don't try to make Suspended In Dusk right off the bat. Just make one simply, playable level. It doesn't even need a gimmick or anything particularly original. Just the act of completing a map will give you experience. After you design the first 5 or 6 basic maps, then you can start to make original maps with a more artistic vision.
Thanks for the tips I was already thinking a lot of level ideas the past few days

No way to prove you have a dw account or not. As it is, you are either a noob or someone using an alt to act like one. If you really are a noob though, this thread would be best used by you to post about milestones you reach in this project, if you are committed to it. Such as completing a map or asking for feedback/help when you run into issues. Using it as an "I'm learning and would like help" thread will get you infinitely better results. People are generally helpful if a person shows they genuinely want to learn and are putting in the effort to do so.

Also some general forum etiquette. Try to avoid double and especially triple posting in threads. There is an edit button for a reason. Second, use punctuation. Readability is important on a forum. We're a little forgiving on these things especially with international members but if you want people to actually read your posts then making them readable is important.
How can I reply to multiple posts at a time.

Have you made any Doom maps previously?  If you have a prior body of work, potential mappers can see some examples and make an informed decision on if they want to join the project.  But to echo what others have said, the standard practice is to show a proof of concept and have some groundwork already completed before you create a post asking for others to join in on a project.

I've already proven I'm not from Doom World but if you guys hate my idea then you don't need to work on it I downloaded Slade last night and its pretty fun so far even if all I did was change some sprites

Pretty lame attempt if that's the case. Someone mimicking some annoying newbie behavior to... just kinda be annoying?

A person would have to be a massive no life failure to come up with that plan... so yeah, I could see some of the DW crowd doing it.

I can guarantee most mappers groaned and rolled their eyes

I had a different reaction. I think this is a very deliberate "ragebait" thread by someone who claims he's never made a Doomworld account. How convenient for a forum like ToD. I get JackDBS vibes here, who we know, for a fact, is longtime ToD lurker.

What are some of the other 2020s hacks your describing other than Myhouse and maybe You Broke Me

Some of the Synami works, especially "i want" and other "avant-garde" works from the Pacifist Paradise clique and some other small mappers like Silver Chariot and some others. That's the ones i know better, there's more small examples but Is not a huge thing, but it's really (or It was) popular for some reasons idk
