Windows movie maker was a popular video editor during the 2000’s in which people would use to post funny videos on YouTube. In this hypothetical scenario, deadlock, a 2024 early access game is made into the context one of these funny videos as if that game had come out at that time when it did not. The character in said video is Lash, a playable character in deadlock, in which he says “i’m coming baby” but a squirt sound and one of his death screams play, recontextualizing it as him saying “i’m cumming baby”. Sex is funny. Finally a edited picture of Viscous is shown, another playable character in deadlock showcases him as white instead of green, presumably cum. The White Room by Cream plays audibly in the background while text appears on the screen stating “Thanks for watching!!!11!!” A common trope for the time where people would thank the viewer for watching and type in numerous exclamation marks, often with mistyping ! As 1 due to excitement and not holding down the shift key when pressing the key with the exclamation marks, which also is the key with the number one.
There was this book that I borrowed and read only the beginning chapters. I remember that the book might've started with the letter Z which makes me suspect that it was a title with zombie-theming. To go into more depth about the plot, the book takes place in the modern day and the boy had been forbidden to go into the basement by his father. The boy would go down there anyway due to curiosity and is terrified to find a corpse laying on a table. He is surprised that the corpse talks like a normal human and seems pretty intellectual. I remember some kind of philosophical conversation between the corpse and the boy about his creation or why his existence was hidden from the boy by his dad. If I remember correctly the corpse also had been comprised out of multiple human body parts in the same fashion as Frankenstein.
I know right, I just started watching it and I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner. The world and characters feel real and the worldbuilding is good compared to most isekai anime let alone a reverse isekai. In the scene where they criticize one of the characters for stealing and using ATM5s worth millions of yen. I literally did the Leonardo Dicaprio point because the creators either did the research or already knew that info beforehand. In most other series, they would never have a detail like that.
The reason that I scrapped it was from a seeming lack of interest, my lack of writing skills, and the fact that I lacked the amount of manpower to make multiple animations for different characters. Although I did post a small unfinished build of the game to itch: https://cobble-stun.itch.io/scream-harem
Is anyone interested in this kind of game or does anyone want to help?
I liked being able to attack from multiple directions of a planet in planetary annihilation. I wonder if there's any other game that is like that? Preferably with mods so I can make the planet earth. I want some inspiration to make a RTS game of my own but with near future scifi tech, and I think playing games that are similar to that would give me a feel for what that game could be.
