Novel Horizon put out their statement, but I wanna apologize for saying what I said before- I didn't know that many peeps were effected for this long, and I think it's really normal everyone is so upset. It's been stressful these past few months, and you may have noticed I was isolating and not really hanging with anyone/cancelling last second for everything. I was asked to wait until they posted an announcement about what was happening before speaking more about it (didn't think it was gonna be this long of a wait) so was waiting. Was having a hard time waiting it out though, and feeling very anxious about the amount of money I feel I owe the community in relation to this merch drop. Like I've said a few times, I was told things that weren't true about the project and assured it was all okay for a long time, only to find out the opposite was true. Nothing was being produced after a certain point. I don't anyone to send hate to Novel, but I'm also bummed and upset it happened to so many other people too. I'm once again asking peeps to try to do chargebacks, and if that doesn't work I'd like to refund you considering people were putting tons of money into some of these orders. Please screen shot your orders and process extensively, and I'll do what I can to get this started and sorted out. That being said, I don't have the kind of money that people used for their orders off hand, so it'll take time for me to get everyone paid out and ask for your patience. I really do deeply apologize. I'm gonna be running my own merch stuff (have had experience doing this kind of thing in the far past) and will be packing and selling items with my mom for the most part from this point on. I might work with some companies in the future, but I really do apologize, it wasn't my intention at all for this to happen and I apologize for not listening to people saying it wasn't a good idea to continue working with them.

You made the best decisions you could with the information you had at the time. I wish things had gone better and I hope one day soon you can move on from this and do more cool stuff. Thank you for keeping us updated Grimmi!

I don't think you owe people here in a monetary sense. It's a worthy ideal tho one that will bankrupt your own kindness and bank account in similar speeds. You put faith in a company and it feel through. It hurts You still have your empathy and that's a priceless thing.

Things like this suck because even though it was the company that tanked everything it’s the individual V tubers whose name was on the merch so they’re still gonna end up taking a huge amount of the heat

You tried and you wanted to support people you cared about and you wanted to make sure that things worked out okay, you tried and it sucks that it didn’t work out but I’m glad you’re still wanting to help however you can. Grimmi good luck and I wish you the best always 🖤

It’s not all your fault, it isn’t wrong to want to support something you want to have good faith in, and I’m glad you can see that you weren’t the only one affected. Taking onus of what you could see and what you knew to be true is all anyone can ask of you. I’ve been working on my own solution to properly and ethically support the creators of this medium and I have been a supporter of you since the start. I hate that this keeps happening. I hope that I can assist you and others in actually making and getting cool ideas into your community’s hands in the future. Even if that means letting you do a complete background check on me to make sure I’m not some thief who can just disappear. Vtubing is an art, art is a luxury, if we don’t do better to help each other actually reward audiences who want to financially support their favorite content creators then we risk the world losing this medium of creativity. Keep on being strong and amazing Grimmi. We’ll keep supporting you.

I’m so sorry this happened. You didn’t have the full picture and they kept everyone in the dark. It isn’t your fault for going with it, especially due to the fact that they strung you all along after they got the money. If you need any help or just want to talk through it lmk.

Maybe actually do your due diligence and actually look into these fly by night companies before having your fans spend a lot of money into merchandise? Seriously people keep getting scammed and it is on the vtuber to find trustworthy manufacturers.
