Borenore Public School
Borenore Public School is located fourteen kilometres from Orange in a rural setting. The school is set in a beautiful parkland and is well maintained. The students are taught by highly qualified and dedicated teachers in two classes. Students are the number one focus in the school and all students are valued as individuals. The school has a strong emphasis on Numeracy, Literacy and Technology and is well equipped to support teaching in these areas. Programs catering for individual learning needs are provided along with a range of support programs in Art, Music, Sport and Languages. Students are taught to be responsible, to be positive role models and to value education as a lifelong learning process. The school is family oriented with parents participating in many of the day to day school activities alongside the students. Parents and teachers work cooperatively to provide a variety of high quality learning experiences both within and out of school to help students achieve educational outcomes. The school provides a meeting point for the community, with social and fundraising activities contributing positively to the school.

LED Upgrade
The $157.8 million LED Lighting Upgrade Program will install new LED lights in up to 1,000 public schools across NSW. This means reduced operating costs for schools and improved learning environments and outcomes for our students.

Maintenance
To ensure the safety, reliability and longevity of our schools, every school across NSW receives maintenance. The Department undertakes preventative and routine maintenance every year, and repairs as needed. The Department also reviews the planned maintenance program for each school every year and reviews those items that are predicted to require work to help prolong the life of the school buildings and facilities.
