Ever wonder what Keanu Reeves does when he’s not dodging bullets on screen, or when no one’s messing with his dog? The answer is simple: he plays bass in a rock band.
Dogstar is heading to Vancouver this fall as part of its All In Now Tour, bringing the California rock trio to the Vogue Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m..
The band, with vocalist and guitarist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Reeves, re-emerged in 2023 after a break of 20 years, with the album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees. Now, just two years later, the trio is back with All In Now, a record they say reflects the confidence gained from extensive international touring.
"It felt like our last album was our ticket into a party," Domrose says in a release published on the event page. "And now we've shown up to the party — the three of us."

The new album, produced by acclaimed producer Nick Launay (who has worked with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Midnight Oil and Silverchair), was recorded in 2025 at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles. The band says All In Now is more muscular and larger in scale, based on their experience of performing at large European and North American festivals.
"We couldn't fucking wait," Reeves says about returning to the studio after the band's world tour. "Personally, I loved it all. For me, the attitude was like, ‘Let's work hard and let's GO.’”

As Dogstar is officially all in now, all that’s left is get a hold of tickets. Regular-price tickets are sold out, with resale options starting around $130 via SeatGeek. There are still VIP tickets available at face value.
