The reason why I got a new sim is because they threatened to contact me from different sim cards even if I try to block them, because at the end of the day, they have my old number

I didn't send them any money whatsoever. I was advised by the police officer, that with the bank account details they might be able to track them or find out who is behind this entire thing. I have blocked the number and got a new sim card, and have completely deactivated all of my accounts - Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok etc. so hopefully that'll prevent them from trying to make contact.
