Since 1968, nearly 100,000 more Whites have lost their lives to Black Murderers than Blacks to White Murderers
This comes out to a yearly average of about 1,800 more White Victims of Interracial Murder than Black Victims
So it looks like the worst year for black-on-white murders was 1980, with more than 2000, compared to half that recently. That fits with my recollection of how in 1980 in Florida I was worried each time my girlfriend went to work at 7-11 that she'd be murdered by a robber.- One problem with stacked bar graphs vs. line graphs is that stacked bars tend to be ambiguous about whether the top line (e.g., 2734 in 1980) is the sum of the two components or merely the higher of the two components.
