Archive | AIF calls in an airstrike

Friendly fire is hilariously common in the Myanmar air force. It turns out that when your primary task is indiscriminately bombing civillian targets, combat ops don't translate well.

In last years defense of Falam, the WITCH team radio'd in coordinates of enemy positions that we had already struck (you've seen the videos.) In the confusion, the SAC thought we were radioing our own location, and sent some uncharacteristically accurate hits. Unfortunately for them, it was their own position.

All over Myanmar, people are resisting the dictatorship with every means available. Moments like this are great breaks from the normal intensity of the front.

Astonishing considering the Tatmadaw's long history of reckless bombing of all things within range with no regard to any life
