The celebration is happening with Real American Beer partnership. Fans can join the event on Saturday, August 1.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will be honored this weekend. The special event will take place at select Hooters restaurants. Real American Beer is also partnering for the celebration. Nick Hogan shared the announcement through his Instagram account recently.

He invited fans to celebrate National Hulk Hogan Day together. The event will happen in Tampa, Brandon, and Clearwater. Hogan's fan can enjoy wings, grab a Real American Beer, and celebrate Hogan's wrestling legacy. The announcement also confirmed the participating restaurant locations.

The official announcement reads, "Celebrate National Hulk Hogan Day with us at @hooters! us Join us this Saturday, August 1 at one of these participating locations: Tampa – Hillsborough Ave. Brandon – Adamo Dr. Clearwater – The Original on Gulf to Bay Grab a Real American Beer and celebrate with us. See you there, brother."

The event brings together two brands closely linked with Hulk Hogan.

Brooke Hogan has some things to get off her chest about her bond, or lack thereof, with Hulk Hogan!

The late wrestler's daughter broke her silence over the complicated relationship she had with her late father when he was alive and how she has been grieving his passing.

Brooke Hogan and her late father were estranged for the final two years of his life due to disagreements over some of his choices, including friends and his inner circle. 

Brooke Hogan Insists Nobody Knows What She Went Through With Hulk Hogan

The media personality explained some truths in her TikTok video, revealing that she has received so much judgment over her bond with Hulk, simply because no one knows exactly what she went through with the wrestler.

She admonished her critics to look through their history and see what she went through, which is just a fracture of her private reality with the wrestler and so many more things she has never spoken up about. "Two things can exist at once, first of all, you can take a trip down memory lane on Google and see what he and I went through publicly," she stated.

Brooke emphasized that she is allowed to mourn and miss her father, even if things between them were not the smoothest when he was alive. She revealed that each passing day has been one roller coaster or another for her emotionally, and no one has the right to judge her reaction or the lack thereof as perceived.

Brooke added that she spent 15 years with the wrestler and his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel, attending every surgery and flying to and fro fully funded by her pocket. In her words: "I love my dad, I miss him terribly. [We] had such a tight bond; what you saw on TV was the tip of the iceberg. Me and him were so tight [and] thick as thieves."

The Media Personality Admitted It Was Frustrating To Fix Their Issues Alone

Brooke continued that throughout their interaction, she kept losing her father, and he also could not find himself either. She also discovered that she was always the one running to fix the bad relationships in her life, including that of herself and Hulk.

Ultimately, she got tired of constantly running after the wrestler, and some personal issues in her life also forced her to slow down. She revealed that she discovered she was pregnant and then found out she was having twins whose delivery would require a C-section.

She stated that her husband Steven Oleksy had also asked Hulk if he wanted to meet the kids when she had them, but she did not know what became of that conversation. "I don't even know if my dad had his phone; let's put it that way. Judge people by the fruit they bear. Not one person who criticized me as a life I wish I had, so I don't care if I succeed slower [or] if my goodness shows later. I don't have to put on a show," she added.

The media personality relished their bond in the lengthy post celebrating Hulk's passing one year later. The WWE star had died from a heart attack at his residence in Clearwater, Florida, from natural causes related to pre-existing health conditions.

In her touching caption on Instagram, Brooke looked forward to existing with her father in an alternate universe where they would catch up on activities like old times.

As shared by The Blast, she registered her desire to exist in a perfect space with the wrestling champion in a place where worries do not exist and no human activity would obstruct their connection.

However, Brooke expressed relief to see that her father's anguish had ended because he was in so much pain before he died. She added that it was very hard for them to connect through his struggles because he did not want to be vulnerable and talk about his pain.

Having recently cut ties with Sikoa after a string of losses, the brothers agreed it was time to focus on family and chasing championship gold instead of fighting someone else's battles.

That conversation was interrupted by none other than WWE legend Haku.

Carrying a traditional club, the Hall of Fame-caliber veteran walked into the frame. He then delivered a passionate message to his sons. "Don't forget who you are. You are the sons of Haku… Go make them fear us again!" he declared.

This emerges as a clear warning that the Sons of Haku have their sights set on tag team gold.

Buddy Holly grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and he's one of the most influential rock singers in history. John Lennon and Paul McCartney have called him a major influence in their music. According to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Bruce Springsteen said, "I play Buddy Holly every night before I go on; that keeps me honest."

Holly influenced Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, Elvis Costello, Linda Ronstadt, and countless other musical artists. He had such classic rock and roll hits as "Oh Boy!", "That'll Be The Day", and "Peggy Sue". It's easy to see why his music is still widely played and enjoyed today.

Many people don't realize that Buddy Holly managed to accomplish all that with a professional career that spanned only about 18 months. He died on February 3, 1959, in a plane crash in Iowa when he was only 22 years old.

Don McLean's classic 1971 song "American Pie" famously referred to Buddy Holly's death as "the day the music died". However, one thing's for sure. Buddy Holly's musical legacy lives on in his influence of the entire music industry. Also, he is very much still celebrated in his hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Here are some of the must-see sites that rock and roll fans should see during a visit to Lubbock.

Buddy Holly statue and the West Texas Walk of Fame

The Buddy Holly Statue is in the centerpiece of the West Texas Hall of Fame in the Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza. It's located at the corner of Crickets Avenue and 19th Street. Buddy Holly was the first inductee to the West Texas Hall of Fame in 1979. A year later, sculptor Grant Speed revealed his massive Buddy Holly statue that still stands strong in the hall of fame. The bronze statue is 8 feet 6 inches tall, and it is a remarkable likeness of the musical legend.

Buddy Holly Center

Across the street from the West Texas Hall of Fame, the Buddy Holly Center is dedicated to Buddy Holly as its name suggests. It also celebrates other musical artists from Lubbock and West Texas.

The main Buddy Holly Gallery guides visitors through the life and career of the star with artifacts from his life. It really brings to life the story of Buddy and the Crickets, and it drives home how incredible his accomplishments truly are. Guitars and costumes are on display, and the gallery also shares detailed accounts of how Buddy Holly influenced stars like Elton John.

Also located at the Buddy Holly Center, the J.I. Allison House is the preserved home of Buddy Holly's childhood friend and drummer in the band The Crickets. It's where he and Buddy Holly wrote many of their hits such as "That'll Be the Day." It includes original artifacts from the home where he lived and recreated rooms.

Although it might seem morbid, the graves of famous people generally attract many of their fans. Buddy Holly's fans come from near and far to visit his gravesite. You can easily find it in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. His headstone is engraved with a guitar, and it's a tradition for fans to leave guitar picks or on his gravesite.

You may notice that his name is spelled Buddy Holley on his gravestone. That's the way his family name was traditionally spelled. However, as the story goes, when he signed his record contract with Decca Records, they misspelled his surname as "Holly". He went with it! From that moment on, he was called "Buddy Holly".

WWE SummerSlam 2026 is now less than 24 hours away, and an insight into what the stage for the two-night show is going to look like has been shared.

Night 1 kicks off on Saturday evening, with a star-studded card that ends with CM Punk defending his title against Cody Rhodes.

Sunday night's action then has Roman Reigns aiming to see off fellow ex-Shield member Seth Rollins.

While fans will have to wait a little while longer to see the wrestlers in action, the stage for the event is already being shared online.

Wrestle Ops posted a photo of the stage being constructed, and so far, it has received a largely positive reaction.

Many fans have taken to the comments section of the post to praise it, with several suggesting that WWE have actually put in some effort with the design.

One fan claimed: "WWE definitely view SummerSlam as the real Mania now; stage looks great, actually some proper effort."

A second echoed: "Looks like they've actually put effort into it."
