    Remember when I said YouTube banned 5,003,437 channels in 6 months? Google just released the latest transparency report showing they banned 7,456,811 in 3 months. I remember EXACTLY quoting and saying that there was a systematical error going on and YouTube isn’t admitting it

    YouTube solely relying on AI to make heavy decisions such as “bans” is completely reckless take a look at this, approximately 5,003,437 channels was TERMINATED within a span of just 6 months that’s 10,000,000 channels terminated per year but wait it gets even more crazier

    Our content moderation systems are working normally – we’ve used a combination of automated systems and human reviews for many years, there haven’t been any large scale changes to these systems. This number is in line with trends we've seen in past years (and isn't the highest - Q4 2023 was 20.5M). This quarter's increase was largely driven by a rise in attempted financial scams from Southeast Asia.

    This is laughable given the sheer number of cases of the moderator AI in use on the YouTube platform falsely banning users for things as simple as going viral a bit too fast or for ban evasion when channels stealing their content get banned.
