The Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) job is one of the most well-known occupations that players can role-play as in Greenville. It is one of four jobs that requires the Public Services gamepass to enter it (the 3 others being the OCSO, the FVMPD and the DOT). A large amount of its interior was removed in Version 1.55.0 for optimization purposes, though some parts remain such as the main lobby, hallways, and holding cells.

The State Patrol job is well-known as one of a few jobs with direct authority over citizens. Players can use State Patrol vehicles (bought separately in the dealership) to patrol the map and catch lawbreakers and participate in role-play investigations.

Troopers can assume any rank (unless in a structured role-play session, see below section) ranging from Trooper to Captain or even Superintendent, and role-play in traffic stops and traffic enforcement (such as speed traps and DUI checkpoints). Troopers can also participate in police investigations and assume the role of a first responder (by responding to accidents, residential complaints, and criminal acts such as larceny, and robbery).

Troopers can use the Police CAD to respond to emergency calls from the server and from players. The server makes an emergency call when a criminal robs a store or bank. Troopers can also use the CAD to view all of the players in a server and see their vehicle's license plate and any active warrants they have. They can also see every vehicle in the server along with its color, license plate, and owner. Troopers can't access the CAD inside vehicles, but they are alerted of any emergency calls in the chat.

Some situations (such as self-harm role-plays and role-plays which incite violence) MAY be against the game rules AND the Roblox ToS, so be sure to check that your role-play does not break these terms or you may face moderation action!

Trivia[]

  • The WSP has the most police vehicles in the game, with 34 vehicles (27 if unreleased and staff vehicles are excluded and 19 if off-sale vehicles are excluded).
  • The WSP has access to the oldest police vehicle in the game, the 1957 Auburn Skipper WSP.
    • In terms of meta, the WSP still has one of the oldest police vehicles in the game, which is the "Gv2" variant of the 2008 BullHorn Prancer WSP.
    • Weapons like guns were supposedly removed for more brand deals in the game.
