I live here and have to deal with this golden eyesore all the time.

Vegas is actually an extremely cyberpunk city. The strip is adjacent to very poor neighborhoods. You've got people living in the wash tunnels. Giant video displays on the sides of buildings. The rich/poor divide here is pretty huge.

Does this "friend" wear a checkered suit and happened to lift a platinum chip off of you before shooting you in the head?

Thank you! I put a lot of work into ZL Arms.

Long 15 is a DLC sized expansion mod that I was one of the lead devs on. I may be biased but I think it's one of the best DLC sized mods for FNV of all time. We aimed for it to feel like an extension of the vanilla game. I also made a pretty nice AR-10 (Special Service Rifle) for it.

No base building/spaceship building but I've been loving WH40K: Rogue Trader the past few months. It's a CRPG with XCOM/BG3 esque combat. It has a ton of narrative choice/consequence too since a lot of the dialogue is text only (main story stuff/important side content is voiced).

I came back to TF2 a couple months ago after a very long hiatus. Did everyone get better or did I get worse?

I feel like I used to be better at this game. Maybe I'm just an old lady with shitty reflexes now or maybe some people have been sweating this game for nearly 20 years straight.

The issue with casual matches being complete steamrolls on one side seems to be well known. It's not terribly fun for either side when that happens. Being stomped sucks and completely walking over the enemy team is uneventful and boring. I swear it was never this bad in the early years of this game.

I still love TF2 despite all this. But more often than not I just end up queuing for 2fort because it feels familiar, comfy and no one takes it too seriously.

The scene is somehow still going strong. The show definitely injected some life into it but frankly even before the show it was lively. It's been a great source to add my work to for over 15 years now. Sure I could add my weapons to prettier engines and it's janky as fuck to work with. But I love it nonetheless.

Do you plan on making a mod for this? If not, any chance you can give perms to use the assets for a mod? Classic Fallout Weapons Remastered for New Vegas could use an update with a nice model.

Had the opportunity to meet with him and talk with him a bit at Goodsprings last year. I think he's entering or has entered his grumpy old man phase. He wasn't mean to me or anything, quite nice actually. Just extremely fed up with how VAs get treated in the game industry. And he's right.

Stayed there during last year's Fallout Fan Celebration. The place was a mess, figuratively and literally. Having whole sections of the hotel and casino just shut down and cordoned off was very eerie.

Before any time I got mistaken for a girl (usually via phone or drive thru) it'd infuriate me. Like I was mad my performance as a "male" wasn't good enough. Quite the benefit now though!

I knew it was you before I clicked on the thread. You definitely have an established style and color palette that's easily recognizable. Love seeing your work!

While I'm not a "femboy", I am a trans woman and Vegas has given me no real significant guff about it. I'm not one for clubs on the strip but I doubt you will run into issues with dress code by what you described. Have fun!

This one really got me. I loved this movie as a teenager. All my friends would quote it to each other. A few years ago we did a movie night on a discord server and rewatching it was... rough. So many jokes and gags just did not land or illicit much of a response. Did I just mature beyond this kind of humor? Did the times change and this kind of humor just didn't hit the same? What happened?

Aww yay! You're rocking that style. The black tights are gonna be hot for summer though especially the opaque kind. Give fishnets a try! The patterned ones are fun.

I had been questioning for like, maybe a year. Going back and forth and back and forth. I found myself (ironically) in my closet one day looking for something. My partner's skater skirt caught my eye just sitting there on the shelf. She barely if ever wore it. Something in my brain went "Put it on, now." And so I did. And I did a little spin. And it smashed my egg open right there. Of course it took me a couple more weeks of research and talking to others to figure out I was a trans woman instead of nonbinary. Mostly because I was afraid of how hard my life would be if I accepted that fact. But I did, and despite the world wanting to crush us I've never been happier to be myself.

I still have my Genuine one from when I bought DX:HR back in the day. Same with my Deus Specs and a few others from that pre-order.

...I also pre-ordered Brink and still have my Genuine Anger. Probably the only good thing that came out of buying that.

AI content, no question. I'm sick of being forced to work with it. I'm sick of our clients vomiting AI generated content for their slop SEO pages. I'm sick of vibe code that breaks when you look at it wrong. Burn it all.

Congrats on your egg cracking!

I realized when I was 33 so you still have a lot of your prime years left to live. Don't sweat it. The first few weeks/months are a period of discovery and exploration so just focus on finding what parts of womanhood make you happy.

I too was lucky enough for my partner to fully support me. She was a huge help with makeup, fashion, and other womanly things. I don't know what gender your partner is but if she is a woman/femme she will have a lot of knowledge to share with you and give you a huge leg up in the beginning.

Join some trans spaces on discord. They're more accommodating to newly out "baby trans" people. I've been at this for almost 5 years now so my need for those kinds of spaces has faded into the background. But for just starting out, they're a great resource for knowledge and potential new friends.

You got this, girlie! Best of luck to you.
