Liberating queer kids from their unaccepting families has always been central to my YIMBY advocacy. It’s why I am so angry that San Francisco has refused to meaningfully grow its housing stock since the seventies.

One of the most frustrating parts of ostensibly progressive Massachusetts, is how abruptly we're pulling the ladder up on the next generation.
While also getting the state economy stabbed in the gut by the Trump Administration, yes.

i will continue beating the drum that blue cities and blue states need to build as much housing as possible not just for economic or demographic reasons but for the sake of protecting vulnerable people
TC MN ain’t great for cost of living, but the crucial thing is if you are LGBTQ it’s better than every neighboring state for your deserved rights as a human being*
*this is an incredibly aggravating change in the US. North Dakota was one of the first to repel anti-sodomy laws, MN one of the last

When I lived there I was initially very confused at why a city which prided itself on welcoming everyone didn't allow housing for everyone who wanted to live there.
