I've been watching Community lately, and I LOVE IT. I think it is, hands down, one of the best shows on TV right now. My friend, however, says it's a terrible show for Hipsters. He refuses to give justification as to why it's for hipsters, but besides Jeff's occasional Hipster outfit, I don't see how. Now, I turn to reddit. Is Community a show for hipsters? And if so, how is it?

I love how much little things influence people in a positive way. It gives people certain opportunities that they would have otherwise.
For example, since early last year, I had searched for a new band to fall in love with. The hardest part of this is that, when it comes to music, I'm very picky. After a while of looking through new bands, I finally found one that didn't irritate me. I had found "fun.", an amazing band with a remarkable album, "Aim & Ignite". The only problem with fun., is that they were such a small band. No one I knew had ever heard of them. This meant I couldn't talk about anyone, personally, about fun.. So, time went by, and after months of me cherishing "Aim & Ignite", fun. came out with their new single, "We Are Young". The song was great, but still not very mainstream. Until, that is, a little show called "Glee" covered We Are Young on their show, and REALLY boosted their popularity, even putting them on the iTunes Charts and Billboard Top 100. This showed the band to TONS more people. However, I still didn't see them within the Top 10. Eventually, the Super Bowl came along and, wouldn't you know, We Are Young is featured in a commercial. And keep in mind, this was a band not many had heard of. Now, they're on a Super Bowl commercial. People love the song, and, soon enough, this happens:
I was so joyful, and dare I say, gleeful. My favorite band was big enough to not only reach the Top 10, but get to Number 1. Yesterday, their new album released, "Some Nights". Due to the newfound love of fun., with We Are Young, people wanted this album. Apple understood how popular they could be if they got some display, so they FEATURED Some Nights on the FRONT PAGE OF iTUNES. Now, this happened, and I couldn't be happier:
This is what makes me so happy. How little things can make all the difference. I really wanted to share this to show how a little bit of exposure can make a band mainstream. Hopefully, I've also enlightened some of you to fun.. Thank you for reading.

Well, originally it was to see how bad it was after chatting with some friends. However, after a few episodes, I realize that I like musicals, I like the music selection on the show, and my number one reason; the girls are HOT. Lea Michele [Rachel] and Naya Rivera [Santana] are my personal favorites.

For me, it's whenever I see people not using proper sentence structure, I get so angry. Like when they don't use capitals, punctuation, etc. Does it annoy you?

Whether it be a speech to a song, I'd like to know tips for memorization. What are your best techniques, Reddit?
I never thought of the audience and their growing up with certain artists. I also am VERY mixed about Smooth Criminal. The cellos were AMAZING. I thought at times that Black and White sounded like Kidz Bop or something. Although, I thought the whole Bad performance was AMAZING. I wish they didn't cut the Warblers doing "I Want You Back", though. :(

I do agree with your points on the pacing. However, to be fair, we didn't technically have a first MJ episode. Just because "Comeback" had two Justin Bieber songs didn't make it a JB episode. I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm just sayin. Although, I could be wanting a proper tribute episode because I am a self confessed obsessed MJ fan.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the episode itself was good, but I mean the Michael Jackson aspect of it. I was expecting something more of a tribute. Even the Britney Spears episode had more of a tribute [to her]! I was just expecting something more. I was personally expecting Billie Jean or Beat It, at the least. I thought a lot of the songs were underdone as well. I mean that songs like Black or White and Ben weren't that good. I wanted more of a Michael Jackson episode. I'm just throwing my thoughts out there. Id love to hear everyone else's opinions.

I don't mean to just forget the disease and everything, it's just one plot device I'd like to see less of. I know it's serious and extremely hard to get over, my good friend has minor OCD. I just don't much care for that plot line. I'd rather focus on other things in the show. But that's just my opinion. I apologize if I offended you or anyone else.
