The M14/41 with additional armour is actually semi-viable. Terrible compared to the Panzer III J, but that's also an unfair comparison because the III J is the best armed and second best armoured BR I tank. Having four machine guns in the M14 actually gives it very high burst. Even just firing the three "safe" ones is equivalent to 1800 RPM.

They are literally just the regular silver boxes. Relatively low chance of getting anything remotely good or interesting. Back in the day we used to get 300% boosters from them, and very rarely actually useful Gold Weapon orders.

Really, the best option is to play it without any snipers. Run 5 riflemen, use boosters and hero soldiers. If you feel confident, top tier has the highest potential for kills since you can run five guys with autorifles and farm that way. It's unfortunate that Sniper III is legitimately the only good Sniper troop.

It has slower ADS, less max ammo, a rather large movement penalty (35%), and is less accurate. However, with all that in mind, yeah it's probably one of the most overpowered guns in the game attached to paras who can get +47.3% HP.

Obviously the para M38 can't be lower BR than BR 1. They're both just (tech tree gun but with a doodad added), so that they could make the para squads with as much copy/paste as possible, but without giving them the ability to queue at any BR with tech-tree guns like they did with the (((Soviet))) paras.
Just like how they're special in getting infinite body armor and nobody else gets any regardless of whether it was used or not.

The MP 41(r) and Thompson .30 would be BR IV, but I can't see the Suomi being over BR II. It's not any better than a lot of BR III guns, and due to power creep it's not much better than the M38/42 and OG-44.

Something weird. In some squad (Japan riflemen, 49th Infantry Regiment), I have 9/12 upgraded slots in Squad Upgrades, and 9/10 in Personnel Upgrades. I have fully upgraded Workshop Upgrades, which is 7/7. 9 + 9 + 7 = 25, but game says this squad is in level 22, and you can see in picrel it's the limit (22/22 Level). Bug?

Sorry, I meant I can't see the Suomi being over BR III*. Its primary use case is that it has functionally zero recoil with a relatively high DPS. In theory, this means that you don't have to take recoil reduction perks on soldiers using it, but there aren't any other perks worth taking anyway, unless you are really into melee attack damage.
