Its deeper than that, they dont want to breathe life into the path of eventually banning mods with anticheat (because thats the only true way of solving this)

Anticheat will not solve the problem. The root of the problem is, that the client gets too much data. And the stalker addon intercepts that data and uses it to identify other players. The solution is: handle ignore lists and blacklists on the server and not on the client.

I love how the new stalker tool amounts to collecting people data illegally while giving them the experience they want.....you mean to create drama with a possible perma ban behind it cause you wanna be creepy in game..........why are we here.

Or just revert the blacklist and raise the number. Then we wouldn't even be here with this Account ID thing.

People like that guy are sliding the western fanbase down the slippery slope of SE pursuing and destroying mods verses the insanely lax attitude they have now.

Nah let um. If they want square, that states time and time again. Dont ask, Don't tell policy on mods. To repeatedly bring up security concerns that are created from it. And continuously bring attention to it...

But as for me right now , they seem pretty quiet on this issue. To me it's one of two things, either trying to fix it on the back end. Or they moved on from this issue for the time being at least.
