Lump on penis shaft NSFW
Hi everyone,
I'm a 16-year-old male. I have a bump on the skin of my penile shaft that has been slowly growing over the past several months.
Details:
Age: 16
Never been sexually active (no vaginal, oral, or anal sex).
No known STIs.
Size: approximately 5–7 mm (around ¾ of a pea).
The lump is movable.
It is mostly painless.
It has normal skin over it most of the time, but recently it has become red after friction (mainly from masturbation). It does not become red on its own.
There is a small chipped/flaky area of skin on top from rubbing, not an ulcer or crater.
It has never drained any white/yellow material or pus.
It has never bled spontaneously (only gets irritated from friction).
No fever, no foul-smelling discharge, no pain while urinating, and no swollen groin lymph nodes that I can feel.

I had something like this, it was an ingrown hair after shaving. Did you shave or anything recently? Should get it checked to rule it out, I was scared too when I saw it.

this is on the upper end of the penis not around the testicles moreover there was such a spot like white spot since ages but it started to grow 3-4 months back and grew rapidly this month
I shaved like a week back

UPDATE: went to the dermatologist who said it was molluscus and is recommending laser surgery as it is viral like and can spread to other regions

Tell your parents; this needs a biopsy and medical evaluation.
