This started sometime a couple years ago, I tore my frenulum a bit and I don't have health insurance so I just put some neosporin on it and kept it clean. I am circumcised but my penis is quite small when flaccid and there's enough skin to cover the head mostly, so I kept it covered for comfort. Well, between the neosporin antibacterial properties and my remaining foreskin being unretracted mostly I got a fungal infection I believe. I still don't have health insurance so I don't think I could afford to see a specialist. The foreskin has tightened and I can't retract it even when flaccid at this point. The skin feels stiff and has a cracked texture. If I try to force it there is one spot that will crack open and bleed. I tried some athletes foot cream, but it was a very small tube and I was only applying maybe once a day. It did seem to help though. When I was using it I could get the skin pull back completely even when erect but it was still very tight. Now it's much worse than before I tried the cream. Should I try some again? What exactly should I get?

Hi, M21. Got an urethroplasty 24 days ago.

Since day 19/20 I can pee on my own without using the suprapubic catheter anymore.

All pee goes out from an stream out of the meatus at end of glans.

But... I have 5/10 drops of pee going out just below the glans, where the stitches disappeared too soon and where an deeper opening appeared at day 10. Since then, the scars tissues are growing. But still, when peeing, I have no continuous leaking from that scarring part, just drops like if it was a tap of bathroom wich wasn't fully closed.

So is it a fistula there ? Can it close itself with time ? Would I need another surgery to repair it after 6 months... ?

Two days ago, I had a massage where | lay face down on my stomach on a hard massage table for about 30 minutes. The position exerted severe mechanical pressure on my genital area.
Shortly after, I developed severe pain on the underside of my penis, exactly at the junction where the shaft ends and the glans begins. I can feel a distinct, hard, pea-sized induration (lump) right where the urethra runs, and a slight bluish discoloration (looks like a traumatized superficial vein).
Walking and lying down are very uncomfortable because the penis is painfully retracting as a protective reflex.
what can i do, when i walk it hurts, when i lie down it gets better. i am in vacation and need help before i decide to go to hospital.

I have three of these little bumps. They are all spread out, not in a cluster at all, they do hurt, they are tender and almost bruise like feeling.

I've had this sore right in my thigh crease for the better part of a year. Most of the time it's not too bothersome but occasionally it gets itchy or starts to hurt or burn.

Since recently I’ve been experiencing weird stinging pains in one of my testicles. The weird thing is: it’s not a constant enduring pain. It pops up once or twice a day, for a few seconds, then disappears. It’s like a needle is stabbing it.

I had this like two months ago. It stopped for a couple weeks, and now since a week has returned. It also doesn’t happen every day.

I felt thoroughly with my hands, and I don’t notice any hard bump (luckily). Nothing feels weird down there.

I’ve read online that when it’s constant pain, I need direct medical attention. But the point is: it comes for a few seconds, hurts like crazy, then disappears until the next day. And who knows, this could dissapear again for a few months/weeks until it returns again.

Anyone has an idea what it could be - is it normal or should I visit a doctor to get it checked just to be sure?

Hello, I have a question about getting a prosthetic testicle.

When I was 2 years old, my left testicle was removed because it never descended. I'm now in my mid-20s and I've decided to get a prosthetic one.

My doctor told me they won't attach the prosthesis, so it will move around naturally instead of being fixed in place. They also said they'll insert it through an incision in my lower abdomen rather than through the scrotum.

Does anyone here have experience with a testicular prosthesis? Is anyone else in a similar situation? I'm not really sure what to expect, especially since I've only ever had one testicle, so having something else down there will be completely new to me.

30M, generally quite healthy. I deal with eczema/overactive immune system issues daily, but nothing life threatening.

I woke up two days ago with a inguinal (groin) lymph node so swollen I can barely walk. It is very large and red and excruciating to touch. I thought at first it was just my immune system overreacting to my eczema again in some new way. This has never happened to me before, but I have had some lightly swollen lymph nodes in neck in the past.

Four days before this, I was in a very forested part of the woods. I was wearing snake guards, deet bug spray, and had my thick jeans tucked into my long socks. As soon as I got home I did a tick check and immediately took a shower. I (now) have 3-5 very small, flat, pink/red bug bites on my ankles and legs.

My current thought/question is this- is my lymph node swollen because I got bit by a bug or tick? Is it trying to fight off some intense infection or disease like Lyme?

I really don’t think I was bitten for any crucial amount of time by a tick, but I cannot come up with any other reason why this groin lymph node would be THIS swollen and painful. I have no other symptoms.

Any advice or insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My 6 year old uncircumcised boy is going through a pretty painful case of balanitis for the first time. He's autistic and now I'm wondering if keeping him uncircumcised is a good idea as I'm unsure whether he will be able to keep everything clean on his own.

I developed a cut in my nipple in mid-February while breastfeeding. By the end of February it became infected with red streaking, and I was treated at urgent care with oral antibiotics and OTC creams. Since then I’ve tried a RX compound cream, and Dermabond that failed after nursing. I’ve done all sorts of bandaids, nipple shields, silverettes etc.

The wound is fairly deep, it looked like it had some tunneling, and there’s fleshy tissue in the area. I’ve had constant pain for months. This nipple stays hard most of the time, which seems to keep the wound from closing completely since it bends/ stretches where the wound gets opened.

I’m obviously nursing my 1 year old. Stopping breastfeeding isn’t an option right now (babe is in feeding therapy and can’t do formula for different reasons, and nursing on the other side isn’t possible because it’s a non producer. My baby doesn’t bite, but when dozing off he will sometimes press his teeth into the opening of the wound.

My question is: Can a nipple wound that’s been open since February still be repaired with stitches or another procedure, even if breastfeeding will continue?

Any advice on what type of specialist I should see would also be appreciated.
I had this happen with my first child as well but it seemed to heal after 2-3 months and I don’t remember it ever being this deep.

I also am fine to keep on how I’m doing as long as it’s showing signs of healing and will heal eventually.

F 34 and first time mom. During pregnancy I had an abnormally large vaginal cyst a little larger than an egg that developed at around 28 weeks. Shortly afterwards I started having some sort of sharp perineal pain on the same side. I figured the pain was just normal pregnancy pains. I ended up having to get the cyst lanced because it became so large it could have interfered with childbirth. The sharp pain continued and got progressively worse until I gave birth. For the first week or so the pan had improved and I thought it was gone. A few days ago it returned and I decided to stick my finger in to see if I could tell the issue. I discovered there is a small tunnel where the cyst was that goes far into my perineal muscle towards my leg. I plan to contact my OBGYN on Monday but I’m hoping someone can tell me what might be going on until then and if this is something that will heal on its own or not

Recently noticed these spots on my penis (glans and upper shaft) that look almost balanitis-like. I am a circumcised male and shower daily.
Went to urgent care last week and he said it looks like some kind of irritation and prescribed me clotramizole for 2 weeks and said that if it doesn’t go away after a week, see a specialist.

I have unprotected sex with my girlfriend of a year now and we both were fully negative on a urine and blood std test before we ditched the condoms. i took a full panel urine-blood-swab test at the recent urgent care visit for a peace of mind and everything came back negative. The rash-like spots on my penis are much more prominent during an erection, as i noticed them while i was masturbating. In the image above i gave myself an erection and turned on the flash to give a better view of the spots. aside from the rash, there is a discomfort when i’m wearing jeans for extended periods of time from which i assume to be the friction.

I am peeing much more frequently now however i am assuming that is just due to my health anxiety so i am not sure if i should count that as a possible co-symptom to the rash. I changed my soap and towel just in case i somehow randomly developed a reaction to it but it has not changed. the strangest thing is that sometimes throughout the day it is way more pronounced than at other times. it’s absolutely driving me insane compulsively checking it multiple times a day.

I do want to preface this with I’ve been under a lot of stress recently due to moving, but yesterday I noticed I was starting to develop a rash on my left breast. It didn’t bother me nor did I have any other symptoms out of the ordinary that could be associated with it. Today though the rash looks bigger and I have it on my other breast too and it’s tender to the touch but not too painful or anything. I had a mammogram in the last year with no issues as well. I’m just wondering if anyone else experienced a similar looking rash and what it could be.

I have been overheated too because it was insanely hot when we were moving so not sure if that plays a part. I also get shortness of breath sometimes but that’s something I’m used to with having POTS. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions on what this could be!

For a couple of months now, she has a very tiny red line around the clitoris area. It's painful when touched, not in terms of unbearable but more of an annoying, slightly painful. It looks and feels like a tiny cut.

She went to the gynecoligist this week. At the consultancy itself she was talking about some kind of meridian that runs there(?), and she gave her a basic skin ointment. She got a call a couple days later that after getting the results it is probably an infection and was given medication to put in for 3 days. Apart from the red line, there is nothing visible or noticible. The red line disappeared for a couple of days since treatment but now is back.

Googling haven't gotten us any further..is this relatable for someone and is there any solution?

I am 19F, ever since I’ve been getting my period I have never been able to put in a tampon. Yes I have tried relaxing, yes I have tried different angles, nothing works.

hey guys, me and my partner are writing this together and are wondering if anyone could give us some insights on what could be happening.

to preface, me and her are mildly active and most of the time use protection during intimacy, our last unprotected encounter was more than 3 weeks ago at this point. around two weeks ago she had a couple days of spotting followed by a very light flow for a day, we were confused so around 5 days later we took a PT and it came out negative. at that point, it was around 2 weeks after our last unprotected encounter so we just chilled for a week and took another test that also came out negative.

since then she has been spotting here and there randomly and we are confused as to why thats happening. were aware that spotting could happen mid cycle and everything but she also says that there a bit of discomfort and whatnot amidst the spotting. another possibility is that this could be caused by stress cause she has had a very heavy workload on her as well.

bottom line, we just wanna know if this could be a cause for concern and if we should visit her gyno, or should we just wait a bit and see if it subsides?

Ive been feeling mild sensations in my urethra for a few days now as well as continuous clear discharge dripping from my urethra throughout the day. I’ve had these spots on my genitals all my life. But recently they have been getting worse. As you can see from the first picture they go up the entire side now. And seem to be moving up the entire shaft of my penis. I also have tiny hairs growing over my entire penis. Not sure if this is normal but seems to be making the spots much worse. It’s become a real hit to my self esteem I feel very self conscious about this. I’ve been to a dermatologist before and they say it’s normal but they seem to be getting worse. I had poison oak when I was younger over my entire body including genitals and I think that might be what causes this. But any advice to make these go away. My self esteem is very low. My most private part of my body is the least aesthetic to me. I’m scared to show my genitals to my partner. I avoid oral and just feel like defeated by this. I want them gone.
