Also, I take Rekkr, with all its questionable and unquestionable particularities, as the de-facto third entry of the Heretic-Hexen saga. Even if unofficially so as it clearly captured like a masterball the very essence that made those games great and I find hard to believe that whomever liked those won't like such. In any case, Rekkr was enough of a bottled thunderbolt for my lifetime and I see no need to pest Zeus for more.

My map's shaping up to be a long one. Stuck an exit at the current limit of play which is about half-way in and finished a bit over 7 minutes. After some more work I'll put up a test snapshot.

Well, well, well, if my first map on DC gets approved a second one will surely follow and a more detailed one on that. I usually make only 2-3 maps on average for a project which is quite the effort since most only turn in one if at all. Still mad about my second map for impping II! getting rejected, I'll repurpose it someday...

Updated map04. Spiced most of the fight up a bit. Nothing too fancy but should be more engaging overall. Didn't do much balancing to health or ammo but seems good to me. Did run into some buggy behavior with the exit sectors but think it's resolved. They were only visual issues but hopefully good now. Will grab a couple screens later today and update the db thread.

api Thanks for the feedback. It's been a while since I had played the other maps. I actually nerfed my northern section because it felt out of place difficulty wise. I may make some tweaks to add a bit more bite to those fights. Overall I'm not too worried about difficulty progressions. Once the project opens up as a more standard one the map order will almost certainly get adjusted but if it feels like the easiest map it probably does need some more teeth.

I tried the wad and I just got past the third loop and this is probably where the horror part starts I noticed that when you open the command line there is a level 01 thats literately called This is not My House 

Oof...that's disgusting. Brainwashing minors into your own sickness is starting to let me believe William used that as an excuse rather than it being the dry truth.
