    4. Due to malfunction of traffic lights, motorists are advised to drive with utmost care when passing through the following road junctions, pay extra attention to the traffic signs and safety of pedestrians.     5. Due to emergency repair of road surface , part of the lanes of West Kowloon Highway (Kwai Chung bound) near Hoi Ying Estate is closed to all traffic.

    6. Lantau Link:
      Due to strong wind, the following temporary traffic measures are implemented on Lantau Link:
      The middle lanes of Lantau Link are closed. Only fast and slow lanes are opened to traffic. Speed limit is reduced to 50km/h.


      Ting Kau Bridge:
      Due to strong wind, the following temporary traffic arrangements are implemented on Ting Kau Bridge:
      The middle lanes of Ting Kau Bridge are closed. Only fast and slow lanes are opened to traffic. Speed limit is reduced to 50km/h.


      Stonecutters Bridge:
      Due to strong wind, Stage 1 temporary traffic arrangements are implemented on Stonecutters Bridge:
      (i) The middle lanes of Stonecutters Bridge are closed. Only fast and slow lanes are opened to traffic. Speed limit is reduced to 50km/h.
      (ii) Except vehicles with overall height not exceeding 1.6 meters (e.g. lower-height private cars and taxis), all vehicles (including motorcycles and motor tricycles) are prohibited from using Stonecutters Bridge.
      (iii) Nam Wan Tunnel (Kowloon bound), the slip roads from West Kowloon Highway and Container Port Road South to Stonecutters Bridge, and the slip roads from Tsing Yi Road to Stonecutters Bridge and Nam Wan Tunnel are closed
      Affected motorists:
      (i) travelling to/from Tuen Mun/Yuen Long and Kowloon/Shatin are advised to use Tuen Mun Road and Tsuen Wan Road.
      (ii) travelling to/from Lantau and Kowloon/Shatin are advised to use Cheung Tsing Tunnel and Tsing Kwai Highway.
      (iii) travelling to/from Tsing Yi south and Kowloon/Shatin are advised to use Tsing Yi Road, Kwai Tsing Road and Tsing Kwai Highway.
      (iv) travelling to/from Cheung Tsing Highway and Tsing Yi South are advised to use Tsing Yi Road West and Tsing Yi Road; or Tsing Yi Road West, Ching Hong Road and Tsing Yi Road.


      Members of the public are advised to watch out for the latest traffic news through radio and television broadcasts, and for the traffic signs on site.

      The Hong Kong Observatory will replace it with the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 12:40. KMB and LWB expect to gradually resume most daytime services from 12:40 onwards. However, due to fallen trees or flooding in multiple districts, some routes will be diverted or may take longer to resume.
      Furthermore, the following routes will be temporarily suspended today:
      33R, 74R, 78S, 91R, 92 (Express departures), 92R, 96R, 99R, 275R, 289R and 960P; HK1 and HK2.
      KMB Routes B1, B9 and B9A; and LWB Routes S1 and S64 are maintaining limited services.

      CTB
      Citybus Routes B7 (offering trips between Fanling Station and Heung Yuen Wai port only) and S1 provide limited services, while the other daytime routes remain suspended.
      As the Hong Kong Observatory will issue the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 12:40 pm, most Citybus daytime routes will gradually resume service from 12:40 pm onwards. The new Route 770 operating between the Eastern and Southern Districts will commence operations at 12:40 pm in both directions (Chai Wan (East) and Tin Wan). During the initial phase of service resumption, some routes may still be subject to suspension or diversion depending on prevailing road conditions.

      The Airport Express has resumed limited services, operating with a frequency of 15 minutes.

      LWB
      LWB Route S1 and S64 will resume limited service from 07:30 onwards.
      Services of other daytime LWB bus routes are temporarily suspended until further notice.

      CTB
      Citybus Route S1 provide limited services, while the other daytime routes remain suspended until further notice.

      NLB
      Service of NLB to/ from or via Hong Kong International Airport is suspended until further notice.
    11. Due to adverse weather conditions, Entrance/Exit M at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is closed for preventive purpose. Please use other entrances/exits.
    12. Due to fallen tree , all lanes of Ping Che Road (both bounds) near Regency Court are closed to all traffic.
    13. Due to the influence of the typhoon, the service of New Territories Green Minibus Route 9A (Pak Tam Chung – High Island Reservoir East Dam) will be suspended until further notice.
    14. Transport Department has received notification from MTR Corporation Limited that because of the roller shutters damaged by strong winds, the following entrances/exits are temporarily closed.

    16. Due to hoisting of No. 8 Southwest Gale or Storm Signal and the associated wet weather, Transport Department appeals motorists and the commuters to:
      i. pay attention to the special traffic and transport arrangements may be implemented;
      ii. pay attention to the possible traffic congestions of the roads;
      iii. plan the journey in advance;
      iv. allow more traveling time to cater for delay;
      v. drive with extra care and patience; and
      vi. take heed of traffic situation particularly at busy junctions with obstructive views.

      Motorists heading for Cross Bay Bridge are advised that the Cross Bay Bridge has been closed due to strong wind. Motorists are advised to use alternative route for travelling to LOHAS Park, Kowloon and Tiu Keng Leng.
    20. Due to strong wind condition, the following special traffic and transport arrangements have been implemented on Shenzhen Bay Bridge:
      The Shenzhen Bay Bridge (Shenzhen bound) has been closed at 01:00 am, and all vehicles are prohibited to enter.
    21. Due to high wind , the following special traffic and transport arrangements have been implemented on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road (HZMB HKLR), with details as shown below:
      The HZMB HKLR has been closed at 0:00 midnight, and all vehicles are prohibited to enter.
    22. The Transport Department (TD) has been maintaining close liaison with relevant departments and franchised bus operators. Subject to the latest weather situation and the corresponding service arrangements, we will, upon the cancellation of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 and subject to weather, road safety and actual conditions, deploy staff as soon as possible to conduct on-site inspections at major bus stops (including the new Aberdeen Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange). Clearance work will also be carried out as soon as practicable and necessary.

      The new Aberdeen Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange will be commissioned following the gradual resumption of daytime bus services. Members of the public are advised to refer to the website and mobile app of the bus companies for the latest updates on individual routes.
    23. Due to strong wind , the following arrangements have been implemented on cycle track and footpath of Cross Bay Bridge at Tseung Kwan O:

      Members of the public heading for Cross Bay Bridge are advised that the cycle track and footpath of the Cross Bay Bridge have been closed due to high wind. Please use alternative route for travelling to LOHAS Park and Tiu Keng Leng.

    25. Transport Department has received notification from MTR Corporation Limited that to make citizens' holiday travel easier, East Rail Line train service frequency will be increased during specific periods over the summer vacation weekends (18 July – 30 August).
