I grew up reading all sorts of sports columnists. When I was on the road, I'd get a copy of the USA today and read Nancy Armour and she was actually sensible at one point in time (about 20 years ago). But this column she just wrote shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that she has been infected with the woke mind virus.
You inquired about the Emmitt Till/Chicago reference. This is easily explainable. Armour was writing about Chicago and Jussie Smollett only to have her editor call her a moron and at the last minute deadline, they just threw in Tills name.
