Jet

Not to be confused with Rocket Jet, Gunner Jet, or Sonic Jet.

The Jet is a Plane in Harbor Havoc. It costs 5 Tokens to spawn, and costs 9000 Gold to purchase. The Jet is armed with two AA Guns on each side of the wing and six Missiles which can be fired one at a time. Each missile will deal 500 damage, totaling to 3000 damage.

Strategy[]

Using the Jet:[]

• While using the Jet, you are able to both target enemy planes as well as Islands, Boats and the Harbor.
• The Jet is very fast when compared to other planes. Use this to your advantage
• When attacking Boats with your missiles, fly high above them then dive down in order to minimalize the amount of AA fire directed towards you. Do note that AA guns can fire directly upwards, so be careful.
• Utilize your speed to get around the map quickly and help your teammates out where ever needed.
• Try to avoid collisions with other, cheaper planes, as the Jet is quite expensive.
• Utilize your narrow hitbox to avoid fire from planes on your tail.
• To make life easier for members of your team without fast planes such as the Jet, target fast planes on the enemy team to reduce the amount of work they have to do chasing them down.
• Its wing-mounted machine guns are spread out, which means that while it has a very narrow hitbox (making you harder to hit), you suffer from a wider cone of fire. For this reason, it is better to avoid aggressive dogfighting with smaller or superior dogfighting planes such as the Heavy Gunner or Sonic Jets. It is better to avoid close quarters or collisions.

Against the Jet:[]

The Jet is generally a difficult plane to counter.

• If in a Basic Gunner, Heavy Gunner, Sonic Jet, Space Fighter, Gunner Jet, or any other fighter plane, make it your first priority to destroy the Jet. The Jet will attempt to avoid fighting in close quarters to try to avoid a collision. Use this to your advantage.
• If in a boat, simply fire your AA guns at the Jet until they eventually die. It is generally easy to aim at a Jet, as they must be pointing directly towards you in order for them to fire, meaning you do not have to lead as much.
• The Jet is quite vulnerable when it is refueling at an island or Aircraft Carrier. In order to counter the Jet, follow it and fire while it is refueling, since the Jet has to refuel frequently.
• If on an island, it is not recommended to spawn a plane to counter the Jet, as the plane is likely to be destroyed if a missile is shot at the island. Instead, find an AA turret on the island or fire at the plane with your Pistol and AK-47.
