Palworld reportedly tops 30.5 million copies sold

Palworld has reportedly sold approximately 30.5 million copies and generated $700 million in gross software revenue following its recent 1.0 launch.

The figures come from market research firm Alinea Analytics and should be treated as estimates rather than official sales data from developer Pocketpair.

Around 86% of the game’s premium sales reportedly came from Steam, representing approximately 27.1 million copies.

Version 1.0 launched on July 10, ending the survival game’s Early Access period after more than two years. A 30% launch discount helped generate another 1.8 million estimated sales across all platforms.

Steam accounted for nearly 1.5 million of those copies and approximately $25 million in gross revenue. PlayStation added around 300,000 sales and $7 million, while Xbox contributed fewer than 70,000 sales and roughly $1 million.

However, these figures do not include people accessing the game through Xbox and PC Game Pass. Alinea Analytics estimates that Palworld has now reached more than 40 million players when subscription users are included.

The full release has also brought a large audience back to the Palpagos Islands. Steam concurrent player numbers approached 962,000 during its second weekend, marking the game’s highest peak since its original January 2024 debut.

Average daily active users across PC and consoles reached approximately 3.7 million during the same weekend. Meanwhile, Alinea expects monthly players to exceed 10 million in July.

It’s worth nothing that Pocketpair previously confirmed Palworld passed 40 million total players shortly before Version 1.0 arrived earlier this month.
