米国では薬価規制がないので、インスリンの価格が基本25倍で、更に日本では70%保健機関が負担するので、実質83倍になると聞いて、糖尿病のおれは卒倒しそうだった。地獄だな。

Gemini

for でしょ。難しい言い回しは知らん。
彼について:
about で良い。
さて、これがどう翻訳されるのか。

彼に:
と単純に言ったら to だよ。
彼には:
~がある/ない、が単純に続くことが想定されるので、for/in case 要素が付加された主語かな。
彼とは:
with です。この「は」は in case であって、主語を作る格助詞ではない。

Chinese classic dictionary(康熙辞典) has all 2 dash "sinnyou" so Japanese old fonts are standardized following it.
But 当用漢字(1946) selected frequently used kanjis and make them simplified.
謎 or the others weren't directed to its simplification (added to 常用漢字: 1981~now).
UD DIGI KYOKASHO still follows the simplification as schoolbook font.
(You can easily write 1 dash kanji in hand-writing. If it's corrected, he/she is stiff to keep the old official simplification or doesn't know the context)

湧命法(yu-mei-hou)?
Several years before I was born, it's 1954. Marilyn Monroe stopped at japan along the way to express the sympathy for US army in Korean war. An accupressure therapist performed a treatment to her and after that he claimed his alchemy with a slogan. His alchemy took japan by storm.

は means topic of sentence so plays lax subject term.
が means mechanical and actual subject.
の means directly "of".

I don't know formal grammar but I think it's the true way of understanding Japanese that how you realize this sequential transition of topic and subject.

  1. 象の鼻は (topic and subject is "nose of elephant")

  2. 象は鼻が (about "elephant" subject "nose")

  3. 象は鼻は (topic transitions and converges from "elephant" to "its nose" but the mechanical subject still not arise so readers/listeners suspect another subject exists)

  4. 象が鼻が (mechanical subjects repeat so readers/listeners focus the first subject again)

  5. 象が鼻は (topic is added betwixt and between to mechanical subject so readers/listeners suspect if it's the true topic) compare it to 2 (鼻は象が).

  6. 象の鼻が長い (It's the most simple and mechanically correct sentence, but for too much understood and justifiable proposition, readers/listeners come to suspect whether it's true again)

You should understand when natives 言葉を選んでいる, they're choosing the nuance and composing the sequence of words for their saying.

Haven't you heard below?
They're all natural and there're differences in nuance.

  1. 象の鼻は長いです。
(Of course I know elephant has ..)

  2. 象は鼻が長いです。
(I think you also know elephant has..)

  3. 象は鼻は長いです。
(.. is long but something is unknown)

  4. 象が鼻が長いです。
(Long nose animal is elephant )

  5. 象が鼻は長いです。
(If I had to choose, long nose animal is ..)

  6. 象の鼻が短い(short)です。
(* this pattern means you met unnatural/unexpected thing for better or for worse)

These patterns are everywhere in ordinary conversation. Most neutral expression is No.2

  • 像 means projected image or statue.

Kanji means Japanized hanzi.

書く(kaku; write) is a verb as it leads to kana for pronouncing .
書(syo; text) is a noun as it doesn't lead to kana.

思う(omou; think) and 想う(omou; imagine) are basic translation for one original Japanese with Chinese hanzi. And their basic nominalizations are 思い and 想い (also 書き).

But we realized the original Japanese couldn't express various kind of concept or minute difference of nuance so borrowed combined terms from Chinese classics.
思考 thinking/consciousness/...
思慮 tact/discretion/...
思想 thought on some era/group
想像 fantasy/imagination/...
想念 same as above but more trapped with one thing or particular bias.
And we made them verbs with **する form.

Some hanzis were applied several times to similar but different original Japanese words so one kanji (Japanized hanzi) has several pronunciations except archaic Chinese pronunciation.

On the other hand natives learn Japanese with applied kanjis evidently.

は is said to be pronounced in another way of わ in archaic period so we honor memory of it and proudly continue to use it even if foreigners complain it.

add
違うか。裏面に俗名・没年月日・没年齢があるそうなので、重要な歴史資料だな w 写真記録するしかない。

It's a bit lisp speaking. Because the set of か and か functions as a simple parallelization of conditions so needs next question like どちらですか(questioning to others)/どちらなのか(self-questioning).
Natives usually speak it
彼は親しみやすい(のか)失礼(なのか)
to clarify it but also needs next question, or stops as a self-questiining.

I guess you misunderstand parallelization and self-questioning.

If ちょきん is the combined kanji term of 貯(ちょ; accumulate) + 金(きん; gold), きん never turn to けん (権 ; right to do something, 検; checking, 県; prefecture, 健; health, 圏; sphere, etc).

I thought は should be pronounced as "ha" as a kid and deformed it to こんちゃー as a tongue twister.
Such pleasures were gained popularity among kids in a brief infant time all through the ages.

海 means the water area with visible horizon and salt water in japan. So 7 seas are written as 七つの海 or 七洋(shichiyou) but both are umbrella terms and not counters.
五文字 is also written as 五字 but both are normal nouns and almost counters because they're short and pronounceable.
(洋 is the same as them but no use for counting)

ぶん(bun) is someone's share after the division so makes combined word 身分(みぶん; position in society).
Also means time unit for minute and pronounced ぷん or ふん as leading numeral.
1分 : ippun
2分 : ni-fun (never say ni-pun)
3分 : san-pun
4分 : yon-pun
5分 : go-fun (never say go-pun)
6分 : roppun
7分 : nana/shichi-fun
(never say nana/shichi-pun)
8分 : happun or hachi-fun
9分 : kyuu-fun (never say kyuu-pun)
10分 : jippun or jyuppun

  • I guess independent sound/pronunciation of "pun" is hated as same as P of pan/pin/pen/pon.

  • Note "fun/pun" sound began to use generally in japan after invention of clock regardless archaic Chinese pronunciation exists. The usage for orientation of circle was specialized for the science non-related to common people.
