The siesta ended!!! Viva España!!!!!!!!

83

they finally woke up 🥹

24

I haven’t been watching the games is the reason why Spain has only allowed one goal because they invite their opponents to siestas mid match

99

precisely yes

33

Spain just scored, lmao

Edit: Spain has won the world cup and Miku

I'm honestly glad Spain won. I have nothing against Argentina but it'd be getting a bit boring to have them win again

And as fun as it is to see upsets where a team that was clearly dominant throughout pretty much the entire game ends up losing because of just a couple well executed plays from the opposing team, Argentina just didn't deserve to win with the way they played. Their first shot, let alone shot on goal was, what, in the second half of extra time?

That said, Argentina's goalkeeper was pretty damn amazing to watch.

Huzzah, now we get to see Trump giving a medal to the country that have been shitting all over him, OR no Trump.

Spain kept Miku!! 🇪🇸

キャラ設定を考えてる時間が、いちばん楽しい!!

It's more like Spain is playing football, while Argentina has decided to be a wall (and WWE roster)

191

Nah, Argentina is playing Libertadores mode.

20

Clearly it was strategy from Spanish side. You see Argentine side is used to making comeback from behind in last 10 min of 90 min hence it was very strategic to not to score untill after full time so that Argentine couldn't come from behind. Yes yes.

Spain woke up

lmao quite ironic how spain just scored after this be posted

Like father, like son.

12

I mean... That anulled goal was pretty sketchy tbh.

21

I'm not a soccer watcher but to me it looked like the goal was annulled just because an Argentine flopped himself shortly beforehand. "Hey, somebody, knock yourself over if they get close" seems like a valid strat

14

The flop was way over the top, but the Spanish player stepped on him (briefly, but did)

It was subtle though. I missed it the first couple of times it was replayed. I listened later to the Argentinian commentary and they said themselves they couldn't see anything wrong

What is a "soccer"? Anyway, we won, they lost. So It doesn't really matter.

This incremental game has more to it than most - Fortune Mill

At least Spain tried to score and did.
