The reported fallout comes as Charlie Kirk's widow continues searching for answers following her husband's 2025 assassination while rejecting conspiracy theories surrounding his death.

The dispute has become one of the most closely watched fractures among prominent conservative figures. According to a new report, any hope of repairing the relationship between the two women has completely disappeared.

Erika Kirk publicly condemned Candace Owens amid their massive feud

The Daily Mail reported that Erika recently attended five days of preliminary hearings in Utah, where she came face-to-face for the first time with Tyler Robinson, the man accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk during a speaking event at Utah Valley University in September 2025.

According to a family friend, Erika had expected to feel anger toward Robinson but instead experienced "overwhelming sadness." The source told the publication, "She thought she was really going to be angry and mad, to really hate him, but she didn't. She just felt really sad." The friend added that Erika even felt compassion for Robinson's family because "two families were destroyed that day."

While Erika reportedly struggled with the emotional court proceedings, those closest to her said her strongest feelings were reserved for former Turning Point USA ally Candace Owens. A Kirk family member claimed, "Erika can't stand her. She calls her 'that b**ch' if she talks about her at all." The source added, "Erika thinks she's the worst, most unkind person in the world. Ugly person, inside and out. She's a soulless ghoul."

According to the report, Owens has questioned the official narrative surrounding Charlie Kirk's death since the shooting, suggesting without evidence that Turning Point USA insiders may know more than they've publicly disclosed. The outlet also noted that Owens launched her Bride of Charlie series in February, examining Erika's childhood, family, and relationship with Charlie through multiple episodes.

The publication reported that Owens and Erika attempted to repair their relationship during a private meeting in Nashville in December, which former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly brokered. Although both women reportedly described the conversation as productive, relatives said the peace quickly unraveled.

Responding to the report, Owens told the Daily Mail, "We're furious too. The public cannot stand that Erika refuses to answer or even ask crucial questions surrounding Charlie's death, which she has treated more like her personal coronation rather than an increasingly bizarre story that requires a network of paid influencers to support it."

Despite the ongoing public feud, friends told the outlet Erika remained focused on the criminal case rather than revenge. "She just wants justice," one family member said. Another friend added that her priority remained finding "the truthful answers" about why Charlie Kirk was killed as prosecutors continued pursuing the death penalty against Robinson.

The Bold and the Beautiful fans can't stop talking about Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), a character seemingly conceived as the pure and perfect young heroine every soap needs, but is anything but. While the soap has thrust her into a front-burner star-crossed lovers plot, complete with an outside agitator, the character and her storyline often leave fans exasperated.

The Problem With Electra

Electra didn't endear herself to B&B fans when her jealousy over her homeless friend living in the room above her boyfriend's garage led her to break things off with him. After Dylan (Sydney Bullock) got a job and got her own place, Electra took Will (Crew Morrow) back and even moved in with him. Then, Will never told her that the new Logan fashion house was debuting a jewelry line, with the famous Hope for the Future Diamond, so Electra tore into Will for not telling her company secrets.

The Forresters forced Electra to choose her jewelry design career or Will, so Electra chose her career, leaving Will heartbroken. She now has RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) and her Uncle Eric (John McCook) defending her honor, which led to another fist fight between RJ and Will, with 80-year-old Eric caught in the crossfire. As Electra watched it all in horror, fans couldn't help but sigh at the silliness of it all, especially the silliness of Electra.

"Eric catching a stray punch from Will. LMAO. And Electra giving him that ridiculously accusatory look. Will deserves better than this!" one fan said on X.

Another fan likened her to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Electra's older cousin who also likes getting her own way, saying, "The truth is Electra is a spoiled brat, if things don't go exactly the way she wants them to she throws a tantrum, just like Steffy."

"Good lord. Electra is exhausting," another viewer noted. "Why does Will want to waste his time with miss prissy princess who demands perfection from everyone?"

In general, fans just find Electra to be childish, with one fan summing things up like this: "Is Electra 5? She can't stand up for herself or make her own decisions? She just lets RJ and Eric control her. And why is she blaming Will? You could see Eric was not his intended target AND RJ started that scuffle. Not sure what Will sees in her."

With Eric sporting a black eye and Will looking guilty, it looks like Electra is ready to frustrate B&B fans some more.

Longtime Fox & Friends personality Janice Dean is threatening to tell all about how she was "muzzled" during her time there.

In a series of social media posts, Dean, 56, who left the show last month, said she had been silenced by the conservative cable channel over the course of her 22-year career there—but implied she is ready to start talking.

"I have many, many, many stories," she posted on X. "Sometimes I can't believe the stuff I've been through. But I'm free now."

Much of her ire appears to be towards former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whom she has been highly critical of after her mother and father-in-law both died due to COVID complications while living in an assisted living home in New York state under Cuomo's leadership.

She was irritated that he was a guest on Maria Bartiromo's Fox Business News show on Monday.

In another post, Dean implied that she was forced by Fox News to stop talking about her frustrations with the governor.

"Someday I'll tell you all the story of how I was banned to talk about Andrew Cuomo after I spent years speaking out about what he did to seniors during COVID," she wrote.

In response to one user, who asked, "Were you told something along the lines of 'shut up and do the weather?'" Dean responded, "Yes."

Dean also asserted that she was "muzzled" from speaking about Cuomo during his doomed campaign for mayor of New York City, which was featured heavily on Fox News.

Another user said, "It was only allowed when it was convenient for Fox, sorry, not sorry," to which Dean responded, "Yes."

Rich Azzopardi, a spokesman for Cuomo, said, "Every credible inquiry found New York's guidance was consistent with federal guidelines, and Ms. Dean's family's own lawsuit was dismissed at every level, including by the U.S. Supreme Court, which declined to consider it earlier this year." 

Dean announced she would leave the cable news channel after 22 years working as the morning show's meteorologist after her yearslong battle with multiple sclerosis progressed to a point where she could no longer handle the grueling morning news schedule.

During her final show on the network, she began tearing up as she said goodbye.

"The things that people don't talk about are when you leave a career, a job, there is a grieving period, because this has been part of my life," she said on her last live show. "You guys have been my second family, and this, I think, will help me with that grieving period. Because turning the page on this chapter has been really heavy."

At the time, Dean took an optimistic approach to her departure, calling it a "mostly sunny goodbye," adding that, "for every goodbye, there's always the next hello."

Those sentiments appear to have dissipated after stepping away. In one post online since her departure, Dean said, "Is it OK to say I don't miss doing the weather?"

A New York sculptor has been left furious after spending $100,000 of his own money to build a lifesize statue of Charlie Kirk, only to find that no one wants to buy it.

Sergio Furnari, originally from Italy, had hoped the statue of the deceased far-right activist, which he intends to display in Times Square, would raise "millions" of dollars. Instead, he said he has been inundated by messages from people saying they intend to urinate on the sculpture.

To add injury to insult, Furnari recently broke his foot working on the statue, after tripping over a roll of tape in his studio.

"Is it cursed? Maybe. I don't know," he told the Guardian.

Kirk, a far-right political figure who served as a sort of Pied Piper for young Republicans through his Turning Point USA foundation, was shot dead in September last year. He was known for his racist and bigoted views, using his podcast to claim that "prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people" and speculating: "If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like: 'Boy, I hope he's qualified.'"

Despite, or perhaps because of, such beliefs, Kirk became a hugely celebrated and influential figure in Maga circles. In New York City, one of the most diverse, and Democratic, cities in the US, Kirk is far less popular.

Furnari said he did not agree with Kirk on "certain issues".

"I wasn't a fan of Charlie," he said. "Like one thing that I couldn't stand about him while he was alive [was] when he was talking about Palestine. [Kirk would say]: 'Oh no, Palestine doesn't exist.' I thought: 'Well, this guy must be out of his mind.'"

Instead, Furnari said he made the statue in an effort to "glorify and to exercise the first amendment, this freedom of speech" – although at points during the conversation, Furnari also said he made it to support Charlie Kirk's wife; to "glorify democracy"; and to "commemorate a person".

He later added: "Why am I making the statue? The same reason why Michelangelo did the Pietà, or Michelangelo did the David, or Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa. Why? Just to commemorate a moment, you know, a person."

It's also clear, however, that Furnari, despite no one having commissioned him to make the statue, was hoping to make money. He said he had expected unnamed wealthy figures to donate to him – he spent $100,000 on steel, resin and labor – but that has not come to pass.

In desperation, Furnari set up an online fundraising campaign, hoping to raise an initial $150,000, but potentially millions of dollars, which he said would allow him to take the statue on tour. As of Thursday, he had raised $1,400.

"I was thinking that it was going to resonate with the world, with whoever, but man, people are strange out there," he said. "Meaning like, nobody is really coming up with support, especially financial support. So far I've spent all my money on this."

Regardless of his broken foot and light wallet, Furnari said he did not really believe the Kirk statue was cursed. "The statue is not cursed. The statue is blessed," he said, in spite of all available evidence – but he has certainly been left angry.

"Things financially are a total, absolute nightmare. It's like wow. People are cheap, man. You know, people talk, talk – I know lots of people out there, and everybody's so cheap. You know, like, it's disgusting how cheap they are."

Furnari's latest plan is to place the statue in Times Square on 10 September – the anniversary of Kirk's death. He hopes that will drum up interest, and maybe allow him to recoup some of his costs.

Until then, Furnari is left with a 6ft 4in statue of a renowned racist, which he has spent $100,000 making, and which no one wants to buy. Maybe it is cursed after all.

This Monday, 11 years after joining ESPN as an NFL analyst, former Super Bowl-winning safety Ryan Clark was fired during the network's round of layoffs as part of a larger cluster at Disney, which is the network's parent company.

Crucially, Clark's firing occurred during the "NFL Live" broadcast on Monday, before the show finished. Reportedly, he was supposed to be let go last Tuesday, but multiple media outlets reportedly put ESPN in fear that RC would find out he was fired online rather than directly from them.

But Clark isn't the only one affected by the merger of ESPN and the NFL, as the large round of cost-cutting will also heavily impact other well-known names at the network, both on and behind the scenes.

However, his firing wasn't just the result of ESPN's decision to cut costs, but also due to Clark's sour standing with the network's executives following numerous incidents of poor work-related behavior.

One of those controversial incidents was a feud last year with former NFL player Robert Griffin III over "simple" comments about Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark's rivalry.

Clark went nuclear on RGIII during a WNBA segment

In 2025, during a game between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever, in which the infamous rivalry between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark was the focus, former NFL player Robert Griffin III called out the Indiana sharpshooter for her flagrant foul on Reese, stating that "Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark."

After stating that his take was "purely basketball," Clark immediately responded to Griffin III's comments, calling him out for joining the "hate train" like other known media members, going as far as to attack his family.

"The one thing we know about RG3 is he's not having conversations at his home about what Black women have to endure in this country. About what young Black women and athletes like Angel Reese have had to deal with being on the opposite side of Caitlin Clark's rise and ascension into stardom," said Clark.

"If you're RG3, when is the last time within your household you've had a conversation about what [Reese] is dealing with? You haven't been able to do that because in both of your marriages, you've been married to white women," he continued. "The whole time that he's mimicking Angel Reese and bobbing his head and moving his neck while he's doing this whole piece, his wife is in the back amending and clapping."

"When I worked with RG3, he would make all of these sort of corny jokes about milk and how much he loved it and how important it was. And he always points out on social media the color of his wife's white skin. As if the color of her skin is what makes her special. As if the color of her skin is what makes her a good wife."

Clark eventually apologized for his comments

As any father and husband would, Griffin III didn't take RC's words lightly, going on X to stand up for his family and calling out Clark's integrity.

"Ryan Clark didn't like my take on Angel Reese hating Caitlin Clark. That's fine. Disagreement is part of the game," RGIII said. "But instead of debating my point, he personally attacked me and my family. That shows how low of person he is."

It's safe to assume the former Pro Bowl winner felt the shame and consequences of his actions and immediately responded by resolving the situation on his podcast, "The Pivot."

"All of it started over an Angel Reese take that he felt was a sports take that I didn't feel that way about. I felt it was away from the court, I felt it was away from basketball," Clark responded. "I took a take that was personal to another person and made it personal to myself, and I shouldn't have done that."

"I wanted to defend a young Black woman, which ended up being an attack on him, he felt, or at least he said, an attack on his family. And that was never the case, or never the intent, of mine."

Although RC managed to apologize and right his wrongs, multiple high-priced internal controversies like this were just not worth the headache for the network's executives and ultimately proved to be his downfall.
