China warned Japan: if it pushes to revise the Three Non-Nuclear Principles and introduces allied nuclear weapons, it will undermine the post-war international order, violate its commitment to peace, and ultimately pay a heavy price.
Japan’s obsession with nuclear weapons is almost poetic.
The only country ever hit by nuclear bombs now wants to crawl under the nuclear umbrella of the country that bombed it — while pretending this is “security.”
But no.
Nuclear weapons will not make Japan safe.
A defeated fascist state with an uncleared blood debt to Asia does not get to revive militarism, flirt with nuclear weapons, and pretend history is just a museum exhibit.
China keeps reminding Japan of one fact:
Japan is a defeated state of World War II.
It is bound by the post-war order.
It does not get to rewrite the rules because its neo-fascists wants to cosplay militaristic fantasies again.
Fascist Japan’s debt to Asia was never paid.
Not by anime.
Not by cherry blossoms.
Not by Western propaganda turning it into a cute, obedient Asian model student.
Not by its practiced humility hiding a knife underneath.
Not by kneeling at the feet of the same country that nuked it.
Japan can decorate itself however it wants.
China remembers what it is.
And China will not allow history to repeat itself.
