Sometimes, when I see a lot of post about destroying Israel, I can’t help but imagine it happening.
Just one day, is gone. Every government organization, the IDF, the cúpula, everything that was protecting it, gone. And then I get the news that my family there has been murderer, like any other Israeli family there, that my friends that made alia, the ones there because of the tnuot, or the families i knew that were escaping my own country collapse. All dead.
I imagine all of my local community, just crying, screaming. “What do we do now?” Where do we go if they start to try and kill us too? (Argentina’s antisemitism terrorists attacks are just 30 yo)
And I can see them. Trying to kill us in the diaspora too. I can see them because they say they want to. In the posts, in the reblogs, in the tags, in the videos and photos, and everything.
And most of the time I said to myself “Those are just words, most of them don’t mean it, they are just convince of the propaganda. Most of them won’t act about it. They want peace and don’t realize the violence they do. They confused help with hate. Most of them have good intentions!” But sometimes I can’t. I just can’t.
So I cry, afraid.
Because I was always afraid of living the shoa.
It’s always good to remember folks that zionist think (or claim to think) that the nanosecond Israel ceases to exist there will be a Jewish genocide worse than the Holocaust, even thought right now Jews are safer literally everywhere BUT Israel
It’s just like how white folks in the USA where convinced that if they abolish slavery black folks would murder them and that didn’t happen; and how Nazi Germans thought Jewish people would kill and that didn’t happen either; or how white South Africans thought that if apartheid ended the black majority would murder them and that didn’t happen. Racist Fascists always justify their oppression on the belief that if their victims were freed they would do to the oppressors what the oppressor did to them, and every time that doesn’t happen
Palestine is not gonna go do a revenge holocaust on Jewish people; even Hamas has played by the rules and respected the ceasefires that Israel breaks every time. OP is exactly like white South Africans and white slavers, they project their own crimes onto their victims because it’s the only way they can justify apartheid and genocide

Because, idk where you were from the past 3 years, probably under a rock, but the way people talk about Judaism and Israel is not normal. Screaming “Globalize the Intifada” is not normal, seeing Nazi salutes at protest in the front of a sinagogue is not normal, seeing “Final solution, Intifada revolution” in banners is not normal.
Idk where you have been, but I think it is logical to be afraid when you hear the same thing you have read in a history book be repeated back at you as it were Europe 1930 all over again. Idk where you have been, but did you know they set a sinagogue on fire the other day? Did you know about the januca massacre last month? Did you know about the pogrom? The morotov attack? The diaspora Jews dying at the hand of “”“just antizionist”“”“?

The worst part, is that I haven’t been thinking about Palestinians (because why would I? I have been a two states supporter since before you knew what Palestine was!) when I wrote that post, not even about Hamas or Hezbollah or many more other antisemitic terrorist organizations (those that I’m actually against). This is in fact just racist. There’s no systemic oppression of Jewish people at present; there’s not mass incarceration of Jewish people, no mass murder of Jewish people, Jewish people are not being put in concentration camps, no country (or almost no country) has laws that target Jewish people specifically, Jewish people are not stopped by the police disproportionately.
There are a lot of antisemitic sentiments, specially in right wing groups, but this very very rarely manifests in violence against Jewish people (actual violence, not graffiti that says "Free Palestine”*), unlike other minority groups like Muslims, blacks, and Romani
Now, there’s also a lot of anti-Jewish sentiment in the Middle East, almost entirely a result of Israeli aggression (including attacks on Jewish businesses to promote immigration to Israel, yes there’s evidence); but this is unlikely to result into a mass attack of civilians for the simple fact that they don’t. Even Hamas, who should be the most likely to want to kill Israeli civilians for no reason generally don’t; for the most part they target military targets, unlike Israel which is proven to shoot children in the head, and use Palestinian children as human shields
