About

Groyper refers to an exploitable illustration of Pepe the Frog resting his chin on interlinked hands, variations of which are commonly used as profile avatars among the alt-right and new right on Twitter and the alternative social networking service WrongThink.

Additionally, Groypers (also known as Groyper Army) is the name of a group of far-right and alt-right nationalists and conservatives critical of the mainstream conservatism and led by political commentator Nicholas J. Fuentes.

Origin

The earliest known use of the word "Groyper" on 4chan was in a post submitted by user "Big Dog Groyper" to the /r9k/ board on February 28th, 2015.[3] The earliest known variation of the Pepe illustration was submitted to a thread on 4chan's /v/ board on March 25th, 2016 (shown below).[1] It is currently unclear when the illustration was given the name "Groyper."

On July 28th, YouTuber Savickas uploaded a video titled "Groyper Mesmerizes you to sleep." Redditor depressingmidget posted a variation of Groyper merged with the character Wojak to /r/wojak[2] (shown below, left). That month, the @that_groyper Twitter feed[4] was launched, which highlights exploitable variations of the illustration (shown below, middle, right). Over the next month, Twitter accounts appearing to post content in favor of the alt-right began using photoshop variations of the Pepe illustration as their profile avatar.[5][6][7][8][9]

Groyper Army

Groypers or Groyper Army refers to a group of far-right and alt-right nationalists and conservatives led by political commentator Nicholas J. Fuentes who are critical of mainstream conservative groups and speakers due to them stepping away from values considered "true conservatism" by the Groypers.[10][11][12] Those targeted, mocked and/or trolled by the group include Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, Dan Crenshaw, Trump Jr. and an American conservative nonprofit organization Turning Point USA.

The movement takes their name from the meme, with Groyper memes widely used by those associated with the group. Twitter accounts associated with the movement spawned several of notable memes, most notably Nordic Gamer. [13]

Groyper War

Groyper War refers to a series of undermining actions taken by the Groyper Army against an American conservative nonprofit organization Turning Point USA and mainstream conservatives.

On October 29th, 2019, a Turning Point USA event at the Ohio State University was sabotaged by a several attendees who asked Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk provocative, anti-Israel, racist and homophobic questions, including a question referencing Dancing Israelis. [14]

On the same day, Turning Point USA CCO Benny Johnson tweeted about the trolling questions (shown below, left),[15] with Groypers leader Nicholas J. Fuenters responding on Twitter (shown below, right).[16]

Benny @bennyjohnson There were a number of trolls who sabotaged the Q&A portion of tonight's @tpusa event. Many of the questions were abhorrent and were not asked in good faith. White nationalism and anti-gay hatred have no place in our movement. This is what the Left wants. It's time to Wake Up 7:12 PM - 29 Oct 2019 Nicholas J. On October 30th, 2019, Twitter user @EdwardBChang made the first tweet referring to this and previous actions taken by Groypers against TPUSA as "Groyper War", with the tweet receiving over 60 retweets and 460 likes.[17] In the following days, more Twitter accounts associated with the movement made tweets referring to Groyper Army's actions against TSUPA as "Groyper War" including tweets by the movement leader Nicholas J. Fuentes.[18][19]

In the following weeks, Groyper Army members employed trolling at more conservative events, including Donald Trump, Jr's event at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Dan Crenshaw's event at the Arizona State University.[10]

Relatively, at any rate. They seem to mix racial ideologies with more tame Conservative positions and valid criticism of current conservative leaders. Probably in a bid to obtain recruits.

Honestly they might be more dangerous if they ever pick up steam.

              Peak groyper discovered.

These people would propose turning Whites in to their idea of Jews and Arabians in order to "preserve" them. Only a really confused people with a really confused ideology would consider this saving White people.

The concept of race calls for pedigree. I hope you realize that.
Part and parcel of maintaining a desired racial demographic as a certain percentage of the population is making sure that the desired race is in fact that desired race to start with.
I could tell you a couple ways to really ensure one gets good pedigree:
                          1) Disallow miscegenation.
                          2) Allow Consanguinous mating.

One of these means invoking the state, and using it as a tool to destroy interpersonal relationships. And in the long run, if its true that this involves Christianity as the other guy claims, it means invoking God as a means to an end and not making Him the end.
The other involves breaches of Christian sexual morality, or taking risks with the health of an entire people.

But heres the real alternative: Be a real Christian, as opposed to using Christianity as a means to achieve the goals of some form of social justice. Drop the pre-occupation with race -- an earnest desire for which ultimately entails justifying brutality on the grounds that some stranger isn't your blood -- and pick up once more objective morality, that urges duty of good will to all humans, because God wills it so.

You know, there's a fine shade of difference between thinking that mainstream conservative groups are shit and advocating for an ethno-state in one of the most diverse nations on the planet.

These folks claim to be worried about "demographic change, massive foreign spending and foreign wars in the middle east", and that's all well and fine, but they seem just a little too fixated on the Jews for my comfort.

Ethno-nationalism is stupid in most countries, but I find it especially baffling when people try to apply it in the U.S. It's one of the most ethnically and racially diverse countries in the world, and has been so effectively since its inception. The presence and contributions of racial/ethnic minorities to the broader culture is a defining feature of America, not a threat to it. The only thing really threatening America are the people who are trying to destroy this fundamental aspect of its history and culture in a vain attempt to recreate a version of the country that never existed in the first place.

Also, ever since white people arrived, there was never really a time when America was in any way ethnically homogenous either. Since colonisation, the current landmass of the USA always contained pretty significant numbers of Native, white, black, and hispanic people.

friendly reminder that "white" is a bad blanket term when so many different ethnically diverse cultures exist within it alone that even a country full of nothing but white people would still have a hard-ass time ever being a true ethnostate. Moreover, you forget the immense amount of trouble the writers of the Constitution had with getting the slave-owning states to agree to a word they said if they felt any of it threatened their precious hierarchy, so a great chunk of the racially-charged dialogue (including the Three-Fifths Compromise) was added to the Constitution so that the resulting country wouldn't have a massive chunk of itself cut out because the Southerners were being giant babies. Acting like the United States has a perfect track record with treating people of diverse ethnicity and background is moronic, but don't take two words out of context and declare RASSISM D8< without actually doing some research into real damn history.

The Southern states were the writers of half the Constitution. They fought half the Revolution, and contributed half the political discourse before and after it. The thing that kept peace between North and South after 1865 was the idea that these two infra-nations would continue to be coequal in the broader Federal Government under the agreement they'd written together in 1789 – minus the slaves, and plus the stipulation of an unambiguously permanent union.

If the modern Hamiltonians (large federal infrastructure, complex economies, urban, Northern) are going to treat the modern Jeffersonians (small gov't, simple economy, rural, Southern) like they aren't even a part of America's history – much less its present – then there is nothing left to keep the continent together except Force.

                                                >Moreover, you forget the immense amount of trouble the writers of the Constitution had with getting the slave-owning states to agree to a word they said if they felt any of it threatened their precious hierarchy, so a great chunk of the racially-charged dialogue (including the Three-Fifths Compromise) was added to the Constitution so that the resulting country wouldn't have a massive chunk of itself cut out because the Southerners were being giant babies

Most of the most prominent people in the USA have been immigrants… Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Terrence Tao, Audrey Hepburn, Stravinsky, Sergey Brin, Madeleine Albright, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar… the list literally goes on for miles. 40% of all american Nobel prizes have been won by immigrants. Even now, in the HEP research group at my uni, my PI gets better applications from people abroad than from natives and they're mostly from places like India and China. You're just blind, or unwilling to realize how much of this country depends on people of all walks of life and races coming together to contribute towards something better

You remember how back in the 1800s, America was mostly mile after mile after mile of empty land waiting to be turned into farms, mines, cities, etc.? That's where the "homeless, tempest-tossed, wretched refuse" came in. Same for every decade where similarly astounding economic growth could be pulled out of our ass, whether that was by putting our whole economy on the roulette table (20s), picking up the slack from every other industrialized country getting the shit bombed out of it (50s), signing our trade regulations, unions, and immortal souls over to the corporate sector (80s), or by outright faking an economy and holding a gun to the rest of the planet's head to keep them pretending it's real (10s). We're out of tricks to pull at this point, and pretending that America can go on with a ponzi scheme of infinite GDP growth to substitute for its utter lack of ties to blood, soil, culture or religion – the things that keep every nation alive long-term – is suicide.

A country that's open to everyone and has no shared value of identity beyond commerce is not a country, it's a shopping mall. A person who has to live 24/7 in a shopping mall is called "homeless."

Either that or they cannot sympathise at all with people. I don’t care this thread is 5 years old. Threads like these are the reason we have “Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics”

I’ve contacted people who do the research Brad talks about and I can say confidently they would disagree with what he’s saying, and is interpreting their stuff in a way that isn’t healthy. Equality is a moral principle not an empirical claim. Focusing on in group preference that much is not going to be good for anyone when everyone does it. I actually understand where he’s coming from. Honestly, hope the guy found Richard Hanania who went down a similar path but came out of it. Hopefully given Richard delves into the stuff he brought up, he might have.

Honestly, hope the guy found Richard Hanania who went down a similar path but came out of it. Hopefully given Richard delves into the stuff he brought up, he might have.

She grew up and knew better than to believe every stupid thing they said, but their attitudes still rubbed off on her a bit because she had little choice in the matter. Some people choose to hang out with bad folk because they grew up "knowing" the bad folk were good, or at least good to them. It doesn't make the resulting decisions they make any less their fault, but context is important.

It's why the Democratic party were so opposed to cleaning up our border with Mexico and offering amnesty to Illegal aliens already here. Those immigrants may not have been permitted to vote, but their children would be, and they vote Democratic.

At any rate, why take in any immigrants at all? Why not look to the causes of the lower birthrates and the aging white population and fix them instead of replacing the native American population with Mexicans, which is a process that's been steadily happening for the last fifty years?

I think they should have their own state. For the past couple hundred years however, yes, whites and African-Americans have primarily been the natives to this country.

They came to North America thousands of years ago by crossing the Bering Sea from Russia to Alaska and beyond. Literally any ethnic group that has ever lived on this continent got here by immigrating from somewhere else. The Native Americans did it, the Vikings did it, the Spanish did it, the French did it, the British did it, and after the USA became a thing, everyone else started doing it. The concept of a true "native" American is factually incorrect.

Certain levels of intelligence, personality traits, psychological proclivities became genetically encoded. Cold winters meant that people in the northern regions like North Asians and Europeans had to build permanent structures and devise methods of agriculture and hunting in groups to avoid starvation, which is why they wound up with higher IQs. In aggregate, genetic clusters of these personality traits became cultures.

A more accurate comparison would be dog breeds that can have offspring together but are very clearly different from one another especially in behavior and intelligence in manners that have nothing to do with upbringing and environment. Not every dog can herd sheep, for instance.

As for IQ, if it's all upbringing and intelligence, then what about adoption and twin studies? Why when raised in different families do children basically wind up with the same IQ and behaviors as their parents? In terms of race, why do the Japanese perform as well and have as low a crime rate in Japan as they do in the United States? Why do Africans perform as poorly and commit as much crime in Africa as they do in the United States as they do in Brazil?

You can do all the mental gymnastics you want but the easy explanation is that certain behaviors and abilities are genetically influenced. You just can't raise and educate a kid to be Einstein.

If this shit is racism how come Asians score higher than whites by a factor of 5 IQ points and Ashkenazi Jews score ten points higher? Or that the Indian Brahmin score higher than whites (which is itself evidence of IQ variation due to genetics within a race rather than between)?

Reading this evidence and these scientific studies is what brought me to these beliefs, not the other way around. Believe it or not this is widely accepted within psychological and scientific literature. It just isn't widely publicized because it goes against a certain religion of egalitarianism that has to reject these facts in order to maintain itself. A religion of which you are a part and which causes you to reject evidence in a religious manner.

Here is a study exploring the relationship between cross-national genetic distances and IQ differences. It supports the view that national and ethnic genetic clusters are correlated with IQ, and that IQ is positively correlated with latitude, which is evidence for my theory of harsh winters influencing the evolution of intelligence.

Here is a study examining the average IQs for race, showing it has a heritable basis, and that environmental factors are insufficient in explaining that gap. Lots of other important points addressed there too.

Here is a study examining how genetics is correlated with IQ from adoption studies.

And many others if you do the research yourself. I recommend you read the scientific literature instead of just taking it from me. The totality of the evidence is what changed my mind. Before I encountered this stuff I was a dyed in the wool egalitarian that believed everyone was essentially replaceable.

Not that it fucking matters. The smartest ethnic groups are Asians and Ashkenazi Jews so if my beliefs were self-serving wouldn't I really want to be Japanese or Jewish?

Eugenics also caused Planned Parenthood. Guess we have to dismiss them on those grounds.

Almost like there's an agenda here and things aren't being considered objectively.

If it were the Catholic Church dominating the academy, do you think they'd seriously consider Galileo's hypothesis of a heliocentric galaxy or would they just call him a heretic and tell people to ignore him?

Using my university's database so I might have different access and privileges. The basics of the article are that IQ among blacks in America is about 80% heritable, "corroborating studies of (e) racial admixture, (f) trans-racial adoption, (g) regression to different racial means, (h) 60 related life-history traits, (i) human origins, and (j) the inadequacy of environmental explanations of the racial IQ difference."

The first, modeled on the Nazi Lebensborn breeding program,[15] was aimed at encouraging the propagation of those "descended predominantly from white persons who settled in the original thirteen states prior to the adoption of the Constitution of the United States and/or from related stocks, or to classes of children, the majority of whom are deemed to be so descended". Its second purpose was to support academic research and the "dissemination of information, into the 'problem of heredity and eugenics'" and "the problems of race betterment"."

I'm guessing yours is too. That's half the point of peer review, seeing whether other experts in the same field feel that the data has been collected properly and the analysis made without bias.

You complain that I'm just following along with what someone else told me when you're doing the exact same thing. You're assuming that the paper is correct and unbiased because it made sense to you, conformed to your opinions, and is opposed by people that you assume to be disingenuously discrediting the research for political reasons.

This isn't you being more informed about the subject matter than me, it's you citing anything you can find that makes your argument sound better and me citing anything I can find that makes my argument sound better. Unless you'd like to produce your own, well-researched, peer-reviewed dissertation on the subject?

Of course we can both cherry-pick our scientific data but what it comes down to at the end of the day is belief and whether a perspective makes logical sense. As someone who has believed all my life in evolution, I do not think that the brain was spared natural selection when race can be considered to derive from genetic clustering and those genetic influences have an effect on every other part of the body, from susceptibility to certain diseases, bone structure, skin color, and so on.

I've never heard decent arguments to the contrary, which is why I believe what I believe, but if I heard any I'd be happy to change my views because to be honest, this isn't the only website where I get this kind of negative reception. This isn't popular, and I don't get any brownie points for it.

It's good to not assume negative motives of your opponents. We're all trying to get after the truth. I just implore you to be skeptical of what's popular opinion and to look at the data yourself. Question your beliefs, question authority, and so on. I've changed my beliefs so much over the past four years.

At any rate, the problems that are behind declining birthrates run deeper than whether someone makes a matchmaking website. They have to do with lower wages necessitating that both parents work to support the household and neither can raise the kids, women putting off childbearing in their prime years of fertility in order to pursue careers, and quite frankly the normalization of premarital and casual sex making it so people don't care for getting married and having sex for reproductive purposes.

Yes, I don't want white people to become minorities within their countries because being a hated minority in a country never goes well for any people. Look at the Boers in South Africa or the Uighur Muslims in China or the Jewish people anywhere.

Why not? Not every fascist was a racist (Italians, for example). But racists generally are (in the long run, if they are really interested in the desires of their heart coming true as policy and governance) fascist.

"Yes, I don't want white people to become minorities within their countries because being a hated minority in a country never goes well for any people."

This isn't about the White people. The fact that there is concern over the idea of minority or majority populations of races at all is part of the problem, if not the heart of it. Stability and peace among all is brought by objective moral values, which bears a duty of benevolence and justice to every human, not by belly aching over which race is over or under 50% of a population.
If you really thought that all people from all races were equally intellectually and morally capable, then you'd realize that race is arbitrary and being a minority or majority should actually mean nothing for you or the country. And then, you wouldn't fear it at all.

By the way, a significant number of the border security officers are latino.

Its a spook. This country isn't going to fundamentally changing any time soon for anyone, just because some odd race happens to be a majority or minority.

                                                                                                    You're just psychologically punishing yourself.

"Funny of you to conflate "fascist" and "racist" like that."

You literally cited the Rwandan Tutsis in a post meant to put down concerns over white demographic decline – and as far as I can tell, what you're implying is that the Tutsis were enjoying the benefits of unearned institutional power and privilege even as the less-privileged Hutus were hacking, immolating, and raping them to death, and therefore had no cause to complain about their situation.

You're backed up by the thread, the universities, the media, by almost every government of every historically "white" country on Earth, and by most of the global corporate sector.

Some of us have a good six or seven decades left on the clock to deal with this world you're making. Some of us want a home, anywhere, to spend our lives in and to give to a next generation. Some of us have no place at all promised to us in the new order. Some of us are angry.

That's not the point I'm arguing. I'm arguing that people of any ethnicity have the right to be worried about being made a minority, and that your counter-argument of "being a hated minority worked out marvelously for […] the Tutsi in Rwanda" as a way of reassuring that "[X ethnicity] shouldn't worry about demographic replacement" is disingenuous enough to beggar Orwell's belief.

Citing the Afrikaners for your example is no goddamn better, because it doesn't matter if white South Africans have a similar gdp/capita or median household income to white Americans – "First World" South Africa is a nightmare now, and as giddy as you are about the Tutsi's fate, you cannot rule out something similar happening to them in the coming decade/s after Expropriation passes… I hope you, personally, will help bring Machete Justice to Orania.

"Accept your role as a powerful minority" + "Powerful minorities get the genocide they deserve" is a declaration of war. Geographic segregation and secession is the only moral outcome for a multiracial empire.

To clarify, it's valid to say that minority status does not guarantee oppression. I’m not even saying good or bad, because Jews like Asians have a healthy familial responsibility on making sure their children do well.

I’ve said it before, we live in a world where Ben shapiro of all people gets called a nazi, or count dankula for that matter, he gets called a fascist for simply being a free speech absolutist. Making every edgy jokes does not make one a nazi.

I don't care what progressives claim is racist.

And trying to claim he's a nazi from incredibly subtle shades of nuance in the precise wording of a single panel of webcomics, so I think the point has some validity. It's like you are expecting a perfectly precise scholarly treatise on the exact breakdown of causes of death in the holocaust in a single speech bubble and when it's not present, you detect the whiff of nazi's."

Especially in reality when Asians, Indians, and Jews all earn more than white people in America.
