About Team of Monkeys

Agentic Teamwork for an AI World

Team of Monkeys is a software studio and a division of STOM Research, based in Ra'anana, Israel. We build cybersecurity tools, big-screen apps, and always-on TV channels around a single organising idea: teamwork is the thing that scales, and the next teammate is going to be a machine.

Teamwork has always been the backbone of productivity. That does not change when the team includes AI agents.

What does "agentic teamwork" actually mean?

An agent is software that can decide and act on its own, rather than waiting to be driven click by click. Agentic teamwork is what happens when several of them work alongside each other and alongside people, coordinating instead of colliding. It is the difference between one tool that does everything badly and a set of focused tools that hand work off cleanly.

Most software was designed on the assumption that a human is holding the mouse. That assumption is quietly expiring. The programs that matter next are the ones that stay legible to a human and to a machine at the same time: clear inputs, honest outputs, no hidden state, nothing that only makes sense if you happened to watch the screen while it happened. That principle is why our tools are small, single-purpose, and explicit about what they found. A tool that explains itself is a tool an agent can use.

What we build

Our work runs along three tracks, and each one is a different answer to the same question about coordination.

Cybersecurity tools

Our Chrome extensions put reconnaissance in the browser, on sites and networks you are authorised to test. WP Security Report and Drupal Drip scan a CMS and grade what it is leaking. Security Report Card gives any site a letter grade you can track as you harden it. Tab Shark is Wireshark scoped to a single tab, every request decoded and searchable. Map My Network sweeps for open ports and reports in plain language. Cookie Vision shows exactly which cookies a page sets and who set them. CrawlCheck scores how Google, Bing, and AI crawlers see a page. Ourchives pushes URLs to five archives at once. Each does one job and reports a result you can act on.

Big-screen and desktop apps

We build for LG webOS and Samsung Tizen first, plus Microsoft, Linux, Android, and Chrome. Ambient pieces like Romantic Candle and Chrome Flame, couch games like Loose Cannon and Emoji Tic-Tac-Toe, and practical tools like our Metronome. Living-room software has constraints that keep you honest: a remote instead of a pointer, a viewer three metres away, and hardware that punishes waste.

TV channels

Our six TV Channels are broadcast television, not a video library. Dogvision, Catvision, Noirvision, Westvision, Blobvision, and Zebravision are already playing when you arrive, joined in progress. There is nothing to browse and nothing to decide. You tune in and watch what is on.

How we make money, stated plainly

We collect no email addresses. There is no registration, no account, and no user-data collection. Funding comes from light affiliate relationships with a small set of brands we list openly on our Partners page, and every affiliate link on this site is marked as sponsored in the markup itself. Nothing is hidden in a disclosure buried at the bottom of a page.

This is a deliberate trade. Attention-harvesting pays better in the short term, and it makes software worse. Our Privacy Policy spells out precisely what each platform build does and does not touch.

Where this is heading

The long-term research at STOM Research points at collaborative robotics: teams of units that coordinate on tasks no single unit could finish alone. A team of specialists that communicate beats one machine trying to be universally competent, and it degrades far more gracefully when one member fails.

We are also convinced that automation does not have to feel cold. Systems that work in visible teams, that explain themselves, and that pause when conditions are wrong are easier to trust than systems that simply execute. You can read the full picture in Our Mission.

Every app we ship feeds that work. Interface design, system architecture, coordination under real constraints: the problems are the same whether the team is made of browser extensions or something with actuators.
