It's a shame, really - the front page of 195 quickly became my favorite meme sub, hopefully this sub gets enough moderation to repeat that without any of the bigotry. Also hope the guy doesn't get much hate
The weirdest thing to me is that starting subs is free and if you're an admin of a sub you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. Why do users somehow feel entitled to subreddits is beyond me, just fucking start your own or whatever
Tbh i never understood what the staff meant as homophobic, racist, etc stuff. Did they mean those "repost if homophobic"-like memes or actually discriminatory posts?
probably didn’t want it to turn into a big subreddit where they would need to worry about hiring mods and managing them, etc. Like he said, it used to just be a sub for him and his friends.
