Our Story
Dr. Tom Rofrano is the founder and director of the Natural Medicine Clinic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and has successfully seen over 100,000 patient visits during the past 39-plus years.
He has studied health and nutrition since the age of 12 on a lifelong quest to heal his own health from his many conditions. Even though his father was a medical doctor and his mother a nurse, he was frequently sick and injured. While traditional medicine and diets failed his body, he was able to free himself from Hashimoto’s thyroid disease, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, peripheral neuropathy, IBS, and other health conditions with his own diet and nutrition treatment plan protocols.
Through detailed evaluation and testing as a chiropractic physician and functional medicine practitioner in Florida, he helps patients discover their root causes and provides them with clear solutions to get better for their long-term health.
Through many years of experience with patients and on his quest for healing, he developed the FreeDiet® and has helped thousands free themselves from gut and thyroid issues, pain, fatigue, autoimmune, and other chronic health conditions so they can enjoy their lives again.

Additional Bio Details
Dr. Rofrano received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University, where he studied nutrition and exercise physiology, and then graduated from New York Chiropractic College. In 1993, he became the first provider in Florida to become credentialed in Active Release Techniques™, a highly effective soft tissue treatment for correcting a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Over the past 34-plus years, Dr. Rofrano here in Florida has taken numerous postgraduate education courses in Functional Medicine, Health & Wellness, Nutrition, and Diagnostic Lab Interpretation. He has also spent thousands of hours doing independent research.
Through his caring and detailed evaluation and follow-ups, he is frequently the last stop after a long list of doctors before people regain their own health from illness or disease. Dr. Rofrano practices the belief that if you have a health problem, he can help you find a solution and treatment plan. You can get better; you can feel good again.
He enjoys living a healthy lifestyle with his wife, Dawn, and their daughter, Adriana, in North Palm Beach.
Dawn Wicks Rofrano, LMT, has been a therapist since 1996 and has studied neuromuscular, myofascial release, aromatherapy, CranioSacral, Thai massage, Reflexology, and LaStone therapies. Dawn traveled to Arizona to become a certified health coach and even spent time in China studying with Qi Gong masters at a Beijing medical school. She also has attended many Nutrition and Functional Medicine seminars.
Although Dawn is a fantastic massage therapist, she is widely known for her amazing talent for creating healthy, delicious meals for the entire family. She spends much of her time writing for our food blog Spoonful of Health and in teaching patients about healthy eating and food choices for long-term health and optimal healing from chronic disease.
