Introduction
Winrevair 45mg Injection is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs becomes abnormally high. This condition can make it difficult for the heart to pump blood efficiently and may lead to heart complications over time.
Winrevair 45mg Injection is a novel therapy that targets the root cause of abnormal blood vessel growth in the lungs. It is typically prescribed for adult patients who continue to experience symptoms despite receiving standard PAH treatments. Improving blood flow and reducing pressure in the pulmonary arteries, it helps enhance exercise capacity and overall quality of life. Winrevair price is the same in all the locations.
Uses
Winrevair 45mg uses for:
Treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults
Improvement in exercise ability and physical activity
Reduction in symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, and chest discomfort
Slowing the progression of PAH
Lowering the risk of hospitalisation due to worsening condition
It is often used alongside other PAH medications for better disease control.
How Winrevair 45mg Injection Works
Winrevair 45mg Injection belongs to a class of medicines known as activin receptor signalling inhibitors.
In patients with PAH, there is an imbalance in certain cellular pathways that leads to narrowing and thickening of blood vessels in the lungs. This increases resistance to blood flow and raises blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries.
This medicine works by:
Blocking abnormal activin signalling pathways
Restoring balance between cell growth and repair
Reducing excessive cell proliferation in lung blood vessels
Improving the structure and function of pulmonary arteries
As a result, it lowers lung blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart.
