So, this was posted in the 2026 conbook about the equipment that I have built and operated for Confuzzled for over a decade. I am in a good position in that I haven’t signed any form of NDA so am not restricted in stating what has happened. With no prior discussion i was invited into a meeting with
5 folk from HR, directorate and other members of my team yesterday where we were told that the engineering team had been dissolved, that my two long serving crew could transfer to AV and that I could bid to provide the service I provide. Good way to say thanks for 16 years of service.
What has transpired lately is an absolute disgrace for so many good, hard working people. It’s an embarrassment to those who have come before and worked so hard. It feels as though it’s only being run for the sake of not letting it die, at the expense of staff/volunteers now. Too many egos.
