Good that the protest is getting longer because I feel that u/spez isn’t going to be so good at a game of chicken. I mean they removed the downvote button clearly they get a kick out of Reddit and will actually care about killing it.
I'm not sure about other Subreddits but ours ends on Friday as we started a bit later than others, due to the relative newness of r/traaa being shut down. For this reason, ours might go on a bit longer than others :3
I genuinely don’t know why most subs aren’t lengthening their blackouts. I can understand a safe space like this setting an end date, but what reason is there for r/gaming to end their blackout? Do the mods just have a psychotic need to control people? Sorry for the mini-rant, just kinda angry the people who can solve the API issue aren’t doing anything.
There are a small number of subs that are blacking out indeinatley, however it has been stated by the Reddit Overlord that moderators with be removed and replaced should they not end the blackout sooner.
As such, moderators are keeping the blacout going as long as they can without being replaced

Since I'm already making enemies, might as well grill you. How are you going to prevent what happened to r/traa from happening here? You're losing the exact same tools that vibratoryblurriness lost to keep r/traa safe. And bluntly, I know a little blood in the water is all I takes to send fascists into a frenzy.
Do you have a back up plan?
That is certainly an interesting way to open a question. We are maintain a very active mod team in r/traaa2, which means more time overall can be devoted to moderation of the sub. This contrasts with r/traaa, which was depend on moderation bots as it was pretty much moderated by one person. Hope this helps!!
Is there any plan to moderate this sub like the original? I used to love the memes but everything from sharing posts to screenshots are currently being allowed. I don't think a single actual meme has made it to my front page. Rules like these. I've been baffled at how many "is anyone else into X popular thing" posts have been allowed. With this sub not actually being memes like traa, there's not really any trans meme subs left.

I'm sorry you aren't enjoying the memes, I'll admit we have had trouble with incessant reposting. We are working hard to remove reposted/unoriginal memes, and we try to control the quality of the content submitted here. We'll also tighten the rules on non-memes, such as picture of Blahåj, etc. Thanks for your concern, we're working hard to make sure the content gets better!

Unfortunately, I never actually joined the OG traa until it was too late, I only interacted with the community via OneTopic's videos, but I am so grateful that this sub was created 🥰
Looks like Reddit had fun time while I took brake from it. I just hope this subreddit will last long and have a nice community, because trans people need a good place for memes and funny stories

However, what are these rules you keep blabbing on about? My old.reddit.com format sees them nowhere.
