We deeply regret the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, a respected voice in the US Congress and in the international arena.
Senator Graham was a dedicated Transatlanticist and a relentless advocate for the need to consolidate NATO’s Eastern Flank. He was a friend of Romania on the Hill and at each conversation I was impressed by his commitment and his conviction that US security is deeply connected to that of America’s Allies’.
We join his family and the American people in mourning him. His legacy will endure, including on unwaveringly supporting Ukraine and toughening the sanctions against Russia.
