So then what is the next BoF theme? Sure is a lot of chat about what they apparently aren’t doing!

#2002 29 hours ago
Quoted from ChuckRock:

I have played princess bride a few times. I don't like how empty the bottom 2/3rds of the play field are. It's just like trying to make 6 far shots lined up at the top of the pin. Reminded me of a Venom pro in that regard.

Portal has an extra module with ramps and other shots in the lower 2/3.

Quoted from solarvalue:

All we know for sure is it's a theme everyone has heard of and has some relationship with everyone.

I'm personally leaning towards aliens or death and taxes.

I'm thinking ancient history. Alexander The Great, or Caesar.

Ooooh! Now those could be fun.

#2006 29 hours ago

All I know is that I'm gearing up to sell a Stern or 2 to make funds for the next BOF

I never played a game before Dune where I walked away and then came back immediately saying, just one more. I get it now. It's a phenomenon.

Same

Quoted from Oneangrymo:

I had a dream last night of a SpongeBob pinball machine
and just last week I had a dream that I got into a minor fight with Kandea, over what I dont remember.

Probably his peacock hair style. He's 50 trying to be 25.

He definitely has hus own style.

I have pajamas t shirts and jeans.

Quoted from Stimulus199:

Multimorphic just posted this - seems pretty likely that it's going to be a Dungeon Crawler Carl reveal

Yea, I was hoping for it to be BoF, but MM will do DCC proud, I am sure.

I’m still pulling for the first four Rocky movies from BoF. It would hit what they said about themes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Dream theme for me for sure.

#2013 20 hours ago
Quoted from badfish981:

RIP to DCC from P3
Really was looking forward to that theme if it was from BOF

Im crushed. To be honest

#2014 19 hours ago

Their first 3 are kinda ball busters, hoping for something between Wick and Foo, closer to Foo actually.

Quoted from JHS71:

A dialed in Labyrinth with precision flippers becomes a relatively easy shooter…far from a ball buster for sure. Winchester and Dune are both pretty darn challenging.

More

Batman fits 70, 80, 90s too! Can dream, Dark knight trilogy would be great although 2000s plus years.

What did Barrels say about the next theme? Its from the 70s to 90s? I must have missed that.

Clash of the Titans perhaps! Original.

All they said was it was a theme everyone would be familiar with.

That could be anything. I'd love a Tim Burton Batman or Dark Knight theme though. I still want a Ghostbusters or Simpsons game but not holding my breath here.

Except for something like DCC which people thought was happening at BOF.

Hogans Heroes IP acquired in 3,2,1...

First a Lego set was released for Stranger Things, the then game was announced. Pokemon got its first Lego set and then the game was announced. Now SpongeBob just got its first official Lego set. This seems to be a trend.

What? I bought my son SpongeBob Legos years ago.

#2025 12 hours ago

SpongeBob, MOTU and GI Joe I feel more sure that they have the rights for.

I would consider each of these something most people (especially pinball demographics) are familiar with.

#2026 12 hours ago

please please please gi joe, i will buy unseen.

Is there at least a timeframe for the next one whatever it will be?

#2029 11 hours ago

By expo which isn't until October. We're going to have months of speculation until then....

#2030 8 hours ago
Quoted from bane:

Not sure if you guys are joking? Rock of Ages by Def Leppard?
The meme is actually pretty great.

I in fact was joking. I mentioned Weird Al, can't possibly be serious.

#2031 8 hours ago

Ladies and Gentleman, your next BoF pinball machine.

Lego Batman with 600 snarky lines from Will Arnett. That would be a sweet tandem with Evil Dead & Bruce Campbell.

Game title speculation started well before Dune. You are just late to the party.

I really hope it's not GI JOE. Danny McBride has that GI Joe movie in development, so...

Hogans Heroes could be amazing as a pin. So many modes/plots/gags.

#2037 7 hours ago

Gary Oldman is such a great actor.

Lego doesn’t want a pinball. Dead end.
