Description
This time, this is my own take of bittersweet alternate ending for "No Time To Spy", this one is if Lincoln lost every single of memory after rescue.
On the shore, the Loud family stood frozen, their eyes locked on the ripples that had long since settled.
Just when the crushing weight of hopelessness was about to break them, the surface erupted. Albert broke through the water, gasping wildly for air.
Clutched tightly in his old but strong arms was Lincoln, pale, motionless, and barely conscious. A collective roar of cheers and relief echoed across the shoreline. The sisters sprinted to the railing, reaching down to help pull the two aboard.
Behind the frantic crowd of siblings, Myrtle and Lynn Sr. stayed back. They held onto each other, tears flowing freely, completely overwhelmed by the miracle of survival. Lynn Sr. wiped his eyes, his voice cracking with immense pride. "How could that man ever think he's small potatoes? He's the... the biggest potato I know!"
Myrtle smiled softly through her own tears and handed him a napkin. Lynn Sr. immediately buried his face in it, weeping loudly in sheer gratitude. Albert carefully lays Lincoln on the sand. The family rushes forward, desperate to see signs of life. Lincoln’s eyelids flutter weakly, and he coughs weakly. His eyelids fluttered as his sisters crowded around him. "You..." Lincoln croaked, his voice raspy and dry. He strained, his chest heaving. "You—you—" Suddenly, he begins to choke violently. Lana reacts instinctively, delivering a sharp slap to Lincoln’s back.
With a loud heave, Lincoln coughs up a slippery fish. It flew through the air, and Lynn, showing her lightning-fast reflexes, caught it squarely in her bare hands. "Lori, think fast!" Lynn yelled, throwing the fish at her oldest sister.
Lori, caught off guard, gets smacked squarely in the face and collapses with a thud. The moment of levity is short-lived. Lincoln's eyes roll back, his face draining of color. A wave of severe dizziness washed over his face, his body went completely limp, and his consciousness slipped entirely away.
"Lincoln?!" Leni screamed." He's not breathing right! Lincoln, wake up!" Lori cried, dropping to her knees. The island erupted into a chaotic shriek of horror as the family gathered around the unconscious boy, realization dawning on them that the nightmare was far from over.
Just week later, Lincoln slowly opened his eyes. The room was quiet. His head felt incredibly heavy, wrapped tightly in a thick white bandage designed to soothe the agonizing, disorienting dizziness pulsing behind his eyes. He blinked, staring blankly at the ceiling. His gaze drifted over the room—no spy posters, no David Steele memorabilia. Instead, familiar items: his favorite comic books, Ace Savvy collectibles, Bun-Bun nestled beside him. The normalcy was comforting, yet unsettlingly alien to him. He blinked, confusion seeping in. Was it a dream? Was he still dreaming? Suddenly, the door burst open. Ten frantic, tearful girls rushed into the room, their faces a mix of desperate hope and overwhelming love as they threw themselves toward his bed to hug him.
"Lincoln! You're awake!" Lori exclaimed, voice trembling. "Oh, thank goodness!" Leni sobbed, clutching his hand. Lincoln flinched, pulling his blanket up to his chin. He didn't feel relief. He felt absolute, terrifying confusion. He looked at the sea of faces - the blonde girl crying, the sporty girl gripping his mattress, the goth girl watching from the shadows.
"Who... who are you people?" Lincoln whispered, his voice trembling. "Where am I?" The room froze. The reality of the doctor's words hit them like a wall of ice: Confiscate David Steele, no more spy thrillers, no more reckless heroism. Lincoln had absolutely no recollection of his sisters, his parents, his home, or the dangerous spy mission that had brought him to this point. Lana and Lisa stepped forward gently.
Lana carefully helped him stand up, while Lily placed Bun-Bun close to his pillow. Lincoln stared at the stuffed bunny, completely blank.
He looked down at his orange pajamas he doesn't remember he wears apparently. "Was I dreaming? Why am I wearing these?"
Lisa offered a tentative smile. "We changed your clothes. You're safe now. We're just glad you're back."
Lori looked around at her grieving, shocked sisters, wiping a tear from her eye. She cleared her throat, realizing that crying would only terrify him more. They had a choice to make. They couldn't force his old life back into his head, and they couldn't count on a miracle cure. They had to accept that the old Lincoln's memories might never return.
"It's okay," Lori said softly, stepping forward as the spokesperson for the family. "You're safe. We are your sisters. And we are going to help you figure everything out." Every single one of the ten sisters nodded in unison, silently vowing to protect and relearn this vulnerable version of their brother.
He no longer knew how to "think Loud" to navigate the chaos of the world or save himself from danger, but he wouldn't have to. They would be his shield, learning to think for him until he could find his own voice again.

(If you want to know, Lincoln actually didn't died the following rescue, however, this ultimate ordeal forever altered his life. Here, The lack of oxygen - severe hypoxia, has caused significant trauma to his brain. More importantly, it has triggered severe retrograde amnesia. His past memories have been completely erased. For his long-term recovery, his entire family must supervise him constantly and take absolute care of his environment. Remembering what doctor strongly urged, they have to confiscate any hobby or interest that is dangerous or overly stressful for a child to leave unchecked. It could trigger severe panic or worsen his neurological state. What he actually meant? David Steele. The obsession with spy thrillers, secret missions, and reckless heroism had almost cost Lincoln his life. It had to go. That's what they did while Lincoln's deeply asleep, after he's out of coma. Still, this doesn't happen to original movie.)
Note: If you still like this sequel, i respect, tolerate and handle your opinions and you respect, tolerate and handle my opinion back (as long as you're not toxic fan, and as long as you don't bash my opinions, otherwise you're not welcome. If you disagree with me, that's fine to me. No negative comments intended -_-).
