In this case, this is a AI assited doujin and assumedly the author's (Mangetsu Wasabi) first doujin. So that might account for the pacing issues but it's up to interpretation honestly, plus this is clearly and MTL so that's why it feels so sloppy. The dialogue in the first two text boxes on the first panel on page 18 is backwards. But Overall, as stated before this is human-drawn with AI assistance (6 fingers on page 13) but also MTL'd so it's an imperfect TL. No need to get your panties in a twist mate.
