I have a quick update on my previous article for everyone. All weekend whenever I talked about the upcoming Multimorphic pinball machine with people I kept hearing, "Yes it's Dungeon Crawler Carl, BUT..." And I was like Hmmmmm, what does that mean?! So I dug deeper into what was going on with the next P3 game and I found out what that is all about.
Multimorphic's next game is Dungeon Crawler Carl AND another game! That's right, taking a page out of the Spooky Pinball playbook, the next P3 release if two different machines with two different themes using the same layout.
The two games will have different art, different people creating the rules, and obviously different images on the playfield screen and backbox, but they use the same mechs, which includes a spinning mech that's supposedly a lot like a multi-level version of the turntable from Stern Pinball's Batman 66 game.

I'm still working on zeroing in what the second game's theme is, but word is that it's less popular than Dungeon Crawler Carl is right now.
