I got mostly D's in high school because you are studying things against your will
once i got to college I got A's because I could pick my classes
Same thing happened with jobs. If I didn't like it I got fired. Happened a lot in my life. The jobs I did't hate I did ok.
I never built up the muscle that lets you do things you hate well. Some people get really good at building that muscle
