This is a place to share hardware and software inventions, I was going to publish a book of my own but im going to start slowly putting them up here instead, it's too much work hassling people to do these things, so putting them here will hopefully reach the right people. Will start with the more simple ideas first.
If you want to work with me on any of the ideas PM me with IDEAS in the subject, no person or company too big or small.
If you want to make it a commercial product then talk to me but im just as happy to work on it together and release it for free.
If it's someone elses idea just PM them, no need to tell me about that if you don't want to , although be interesting to know if I helped a hookup along the way.
Discussion and refinement of all ideas very welcome, in fact thats the main idea of this space.
Bring it on!

There is an app called Seaquence where you can make your own sequences and stuff, I had the thought of making a keyboard and putting the software on that keyboard
mainly had an idea of a cheaper form of the cirklon sequencer but with a few more bells and whistles compared to the original , instead of just having A & B for live CV control parameters there would be a full row of 16 that sits above the already existing 16 knobs for other controls in the menus. You could use these for anything like microtonal tuning shifts and whatnot. ofcourse with that It'd incorporate a bigger screen that would sorta include note editing like the hapax and etc. lastly, maybe a more capable CPU and graphics processor to handle the GUI and obviously extra CV parameters ontop of the already existing ones.
User4791 – White_d new track by me see what yar fink....
Bring Kilroy back.
i always had the idea of an organ that controlled a turntable, keys would control playback speed of the record and controls could mix channels add effects etc
Inspiring
ML model trained on aphex twin that can deep dream from input of an aphex twin song, using the model trained on aphex twin, so it outputs aphex twinized aphex twin
running and driving app... dm
I made a program that converts text into audio using simple additive synthesis. It's a quick way to add hidden messages into music, without having to convert them into images first. Anyone's welcome to use it. github.com/ZoeB/steg
biodomes at varied scale for condensation collection for growing vegetables with a rain catcher and gutters around to collect and pump through hydroponically along with condensation collection pumping through.
have an idea for a speeding app and a running/driving app that I know you could have input on *promars
@clavicul *speed reading
@clavicul have speed reading app idea and a running/driving app idea that I know you and I both could have plenty of input on .*promars

@user08291992 all the sex groans replaced with shitting moans. pleasure x frustration. would be ace MiX !-)
@ezkilla: @user18081971 fuck the Cheeta "ms800" or w/e the hardware is referring to now. Can i half the Cheetah Sweettalker Cassette player? pweety pwease? i'll do anything
@ezkilla: @user18081971 can u just synthesize C20 already? this getting fkn passe/arduous/dullcid. What is Covid? C19 had a good run but cmon dude update the malware already
By using a mechanical device to strike the strings, rather than a human hand, you can exceed what is physically possible and push guitar playing into new, unexplored territories. my next YouTube post has a much more driving techno sound
i have created a guitar that has a mechanical sequencer attached to it to generate sounds, textures and rhythms that would be impossible with a conventional electric guitar. youtu.be/9dtrvc6gOc4
cheetah vol2 ep soon...? U legend ≧ ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛≦

what is the evolved version of a twatty CUNT? with a big Uncircumcised Cock for a Clit?
couldn't you have made the resonance knob bigger/longer on the Korg Monologue?. what i mean is make an infinite resonance knob, not 1-10 concept of Volume ?

all the black midi ooo_000 just unprivated makes me feel too strobey. ANY way to deactivate third-eye? or at least see less electric colors..

a synth that's like a PS3300 ish w/ 3 sections and full polyphony etcetc and a central matrix-ultra-seq with 16x3 steps and modulation stuff on top. with like the usual fare but also logic for the way the seq's run like a master which resets the others, steps with diff lengths, inter-lane interactions etc. fully built into the synth architecture as a mod source and sound design tool.

keyboard but every note is a different aphex twin song
I have an idea for an Analog Vowel Filter box... hmu
[Conditional Modz] Expression Map and Conditions for analog synth , each X time you press a key it changes the osc waveform , cutoff etc.. Each time you play a new note it changes preset ; you can program some preset lanes with subtle changes or completly diff ones ; could be fun. Analog synths lack a bit of this conditional stuff ; mainly used for sequencer but could be really fun for synth parameters . PLEASE Sequential etc .. do that
have you ever done this, or considered turning a mixer into a sequencer with faders for pitch/gate length and stuff?
@und-sidedly: check this: imgur.com/HLcu7Wo 8 oscs, one for each step, for overlapping notes of diff. steps, X/Y params selectable from stepped knobs and synth master section, each osc runs through the respective channel board sans fader level (thinking of replacing the Y param with filter cutoff per step maybe?) and has fader start that could b used for turning steps on/off (skip)
Resonate.is
How might one determine the resonant frequency of individual body parts?
@goldenrolli: probably colundi sequence imho
@ezkilla: But I mean even more personally. Like your liver has a res freq, your skull, etc.
i hear Yennie
They should go back to making multitrack recorders with midi sync on them.
@audible-smote: yeah!!
@audible-smote: Agreed!!
Was the japanese instrument you meantioned in the interview/chat with Tatsuya Takahashi a Suzuki Nobara? Had one for a while too, never realized it has japanese scales integrated. Loved the drum sounds too

@pikaska My comments are not showing up here, so someone must be mass flagging them for no reason
idea: A complete version of Organ28, but mastered like the one on Bleep.
been wanting to make a vst to emulate progressive tape degradation w/different types e.g. dust, binder degradation, chipping, etc. but it's more of a dream project that'd require me to learn a lot, collect tapes, and experiment since there are no good examples online of the sound of certain degradation types, only how to fix them.
@unslept_em: I've been listening to william basinski every once in a while and it's a sound that I really want to experiment with, except there's nothing online that indicates exactly how the tapes degraded. it's also difficult to tell from the spectrogram since the disintegration loops have a lot of reverb over them. so at the very least I'd like to figure that one out eventually.
isn't a musical instrument kind of a preset? and aren't presets kind of like songs? I want to see what can be done with some fast microdelays, hardware acoustic filters, and I keep thinking about trying to miniaturize the 'cooper time cube' with a 3d printer and band reject it's resonant frequency. (I was the one who brought up the digital mixed bullet-time microphone array that one time). Ideas are fun, the sheerness of the learning curve of the needed omniscience is fun.
