People like this make me feel like I’m Lt Bookman from Seinfeld.
"I remember when the librarian was a much older woman: Kindly, discreet, unattractive. We didn't know anything about her private life. We didn't WANT to know anything about her private life."
This applies to video game companies, comic companies, movie studios, etc… Just read, watch, or play whatever you want and let the market do its thing. You don’t need to follow the money.
In other news the latest episode of my adventures with superman was really good, very action heavy, dramatic and without all the cutesy stuff you said you did not like. Seems like this season is going to be split into two arcs so this is like the big finale blowout for the 1st one. Worth a watch for sure.
Bethesda just laid off a ton of workers who weren't delivering on time, did I read that right? The Mandalorian movie returned to form and was exactly what the show was in S1 and S2. The He-Man movie was anti-woke and anti-HR at a granular level. Supergirl was good (with some average superhero movie flaws). Superman from last summer was great, Fan4 was great, things are returning to what they were in the pre-Woke era.
The Right has "won" in that sense. They will never get cultural Nuremberg trials or studios admitting that Gary and Drinker were right in press releases, but who cares? They have admitted it in what they make now. And the Right doesn't want to see it. They don't know who they are if they aren't "losing."
When it comes to the Indy studios absolutely, but the gaming industry lost the middle studios and a lot of AAA studios are facing big lay offs. It's not doom and gloom, and theirs games I'm looking forward to but I do have some concerns.
