Plays more like Tiberian Dawn if it came out today with controls from 1995 and feel of SC2, still can't believe that Slipgate and 3D Realms successfully scammed RTS fans after continuously scamming boomer shooter fans

why is generals so highly praised when its more clunky than goddamn cnc1

Most of the videos "praising" it are just people saying how intelligent it was for predicting the current political landscape (even though any retard could see china was going to be a superpower by the turn of the century) or musing at the fact that such a game could never be made nowadays. It's probably one of the worst in the series since you can't even discuss it without real life politics being brought up and the balancing is shit
