figure-8 circuit now also officially uses the dutch name that it received in smash ultimate i believe (it may not look like it if you don’t speak dutch, but this track’s name is a cool pun)

some of the less groundbreaking names not pictured: peach circuit → Peach’ Circuit shy guy beach → Shy Guy-Strand chain chomp roulette → Chain Chomp-Roulette (it’s cool, no pun intended, how N64 and GCN sherbet land now don’t share a name in dutch. GCN Sherbet Land is IJzige IJsbaan)

one REALLY FUNNY detail is that Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) just Doesn’t Exist anymore it’s not even a “use the switch title” thing! NSMBU and SM3DW use their original titles where possible

A while ago I made a list of names I thought Mario Kart tracks that didn't have Dutch names yet could get and I'm so glad I got these right.

Nintendo had mij in hun lokalisatieteam moeten hebben zodat ik Merry Mountain “Pakjespiek” en Piranha Plant Pipeline “Binnenstebuizenbaan” had kunnen noemen

Ik heb nog steeds wat namen die niet officieel bekend zijn gemaakt waar ik trots op ben, zoals Champignon City (Mushroom City), Schemerslot (Twilight House) en Gevechtengebak (Tart Top). Met Vriesvlakte (Frappe Snowland) was ik ook tevreden, maar "Zonneruïne" is veel beter dan mijn "Hete Heuvels".

Schimmensteiger voor Banshee Boardwalk lijkt mij wel een leuke, en voordat Riverside Park in MK8DX kwam hoopte ik op Rivierrimboe

Voor Banshee Boardwalk had ik Boo's Boulevard maar Schimmensteiger is zo veel beter

nog een paar waar ik aan heb zitten denken: - Mushroom City: Schimmelstad - Cookie Land: Yoshi's Banket - Tart Top: Tumulttaart - Tilt-a-Kart: Pixelplatform
