I started writing on Medium on August 10, 2024. So it’s been over a year now. My first month? I made $99.74 (in just 20 days). I already shared about that here; you can read.
Well, if you see claps and comments on my stories, you’d never guess they’re making this kind of money.
Most people read and just…leave. No claps or just one clap, no comment, nothing. And honestly? I’m totally cool with that because, at the end of the day, three things matter to me:
- People are reading my stuff
- I’m making good money
- And I’m actually enjoying the writing process and experimenting with it.
Things That I’m not doing like most writers…
- I’m not a niche writer. Like at all. I write about everything. Literally everything.
- I don’t write every day.
- I don’t even engage with other people’s stories (though I definitely read the interesting ones).
