Every night, creatures pretending to be cops knock on my door. How did I know they weren't real? When these fake cops come, the lights are always off in the entryway so the residents can't see their faces, but once I saw their true form in the moonlight. Their caps are part of their skulls, their clothes are just one layer of skin. Their faces are vantablack holes. They keep saying, "Open up, it's the police, we know you're holding several people hostage," but that's not true. I live alone in my apartment with my dog. I don't know what would happen if I came home late at night and met these creatures face to face.
